What to visit in the department of Jura?

The Haut-Jura Regional Park includes a total of more than a hundred municipalities. The Jura forests are numerous and are synonymous with beautiful walks, such as the Forêt du Massacre, the Forêt de Chaux or the Forêt de la Joux. The Jura is also a skiers' paradise, with its 1000 km of cross-country skiing trails, such as at the Les Rousses resort or the Hautes-Combes ski area. The Jura also has many water points, including lakes and waterfalls. The small glacial lake of Bonlieu, the lake of Abbey or the lake of Antre are ideal for walks and rest.
