Description

We welcome you to our grounds, situated on a promontory where you can see magnificent sunsets, close to the A89 freeway, exit 30 (Thiers Est) or 31 (Noirétable) in a green setting, ideal for a stopover.

The setting

We're in the heart of the Monts du Forez, in the midst of a generous and diverse natural environment. This region of farmers, foresters and cutlers offers a restful, green setting for breathing healthy air and pleasant landscapes to walk through or visit.

The spots

The terrain is hilly, but there is space for a tent, and two spaces for a van or camper van, but not very large ones. There's plenty of shade, and you can set up a garden table at various points during the day.

The sanitary facilities

There are dry toilets that are cleaned regularly and a solar shower in a tent.

The amenities

There is a sink outside. It is possible to have electricity with an extension cord outside.
A caravan is available for electricity, shelter in case of bad weather, and meals and washing facilities.

The activities

You can go hiking or mountain biking. The routes are well signposted.
We are very close to the GR 89, Chemin de Montaigne.
Near
- the cutlery town of Thiers;
- Saint Rémy sur Durolle lake (blue flag);
- the town of Cervières, home of the grenadières;
- Notre Dame de l'Hermitage, a medieval monastery;
- La Pierre Pamole, a panoramic viewpoint over Forez near Vollore-Montagne
- the Noirétable market on Saturday mornings...
