Description

Just passing through Le Mans on two wheels? Come and spend a quiet moment in our garden :)

The rate is 5e per person, the minimum imposed by the Homecamper platform.

Conveniently located for public transport (bus stop opposite, 15 minutes to the station: see photos).

If you arrive in the middle of the night, of course it's not easy to get settled in the dark, nor to shower with a solar shower, so plan ahead... and don't blame the owner!

The setting

The residential area is quiet and safe (detached bungalow of 150m2 in a cul-de-sac), so you can leave your motorcycles outside (see photo). Bicycle garage.

The legendary 24-hour race circuit is 5 minutes away (two or three kilometers as the crow flies).

  • Small, private spot. Very basic (solar shower, dry toilets), but good. No shade, so not suited for spending an afternoon by the tent if it’s hot and sunny.
    We had quiet nights and nice days in the city. The bus stop is very near.
    Antoine is a nice guy.

Antoine was very considerate and made sure that everything went well for me. I was able to choose where to pitch my tent in his garden and sleep well away from the turmoil and noise on the circuit. No worries for the motorcycle. Possibility to make a small ballad in a bucolic environment near the house (hiking trail) I sign again for next year and I am ready to return with pleasure. Easy and quick access to the circuit. It was a nice 1st gambing experience for me....

My first experience of "gamping" was therefore conclusive: I didn't have to bring anything with me, except my comforter. On the spot, I took advantage of their tent and I even had the right to a real comfortable mattress, a cozy pillow and a second comforter for the cold nights.
    When I left, I felt like I was leaving long-time friends, with the desire to come back to see them. I recommend, but not too much, to avoid that the garden is not available next year ;-)
