For nature lovers, calm and serenity. Halfway between the Mont-Saint-Michel, and the landing beaches. Near very nice festivals !

The setting

L'Herberie de la Belhomière: an organic micro-farm producing aromatic and medicinal plants, and red fruits, among other edible flowers and ancient vegetables. A green setting: working in bio-dynamics and permaculture, the crops are mixed in a lightly landscaped park, with trees and scents, with nooks and crannies with different atmospheres and scents. These corners are at your disposal.

The spots

The ground is flat, there are possible places everywhere for a small tent (couple), if your tent is bigger, or if you are in family, or in caravan, you will be able to settle under the apple trees.
For a camper van, it will be near our hall, between an old apple tree and a hundred year old oak tree, a semi-shaded place, close to the amenities.
There is a parking lot at the entrance.

The sanitary facilities

Independent dry toilets in a wooden building near the field.
Bathroom with shower accessible in our house, moments to see with us.
Drinking water nearby.

The amenities

Electricity in the wooden building, or we put at your disposal, a table and chairs, if you wish to have your breakfast or your meal there.
Possibility of making a fire during the day for your grills, or in the evening for pleasure. Determined place.
A few basic ingredients will be at your disposal: salt, pepper, and emergency dishes, cutlery, if needed.
You will be able to make your market on the spot with the aromatics and the fruits of season.
Internet possible near the house (wifi).
And a real bread oven will soon be available for the epicurean campers.

Land & setting
  • A place where you feel immediately at home, Eric and Marie Claude were very kind and did not let us miss anything. We were able to dine under a shed equipped in the garden, use the BBQ, walk around the manicured garden, the children were invited to put the chickens to sleep, we had access to shower and wifi....and much more. Charming place that we highly recommend!!!

  • Friendly people. Nice Surroundings. Breakfast with home grown fruit.Nothing to complain.

  • Very good welcome, Eric takes time for his guests. A passionate person who knows how to share. Very good moment, beautiful.meeting.

  • Great land! very pleasant and enriching person, thanks to you!

  • La Belhomière is a real breath of fresh air for all nature lovers.
Eric and Marie Claude are beautiful people, lovers and passionate about nature.
They gave us a warm welcome and showed us their beautiful fruit and herb garden.
We had the right to a tasting of different jellies and jams with original and tasty associations.
The availability and the kindness of this couple touched us a lot. A very nice meeting.
    I recommend without hesitation.

  • For those with a gourmet eye, Belhomiere appears to be what it is as soon as the gate is crossed: a paradise.

And even with a strong appetite, the gourmet eye and the greedy taste buds will not be able to get enough, so many discoveries to make, in a multitude of nooks and crannies where small wonders are nestled. You can walk on a carpet of short grass and meet islands where dozens of varieties of flowers, fruits, shrubs and trees of all kinds are nestled. To land in the middle of this universe is a privilege.

The geographical position of the Belhomiere allows you to discover the wild beauty of the land and the shores of the Cotentin peninsula and the Bessin.

Welcoming, Marie Claude and Eric take care of the well-being of their guests.
They do not hesitate to share their passion and give particularly wise advice to make the most of their stay.
Cherry on the cake, their productions: small fruits, aromatic herbs, jellies, jams, etc

We spent a delicious vacation at the Belhomiere.

  • We are delighted with our stay. Our hosts were really available and warm. The country garden is a little corner of paradise. The location is perfect to discover the Channel but also the D-Day beaches, Bayeux ...
