Description

Our site is located in a quiet hamlet in the countryside, with the possibility of walking to the lake in 10 minutes and joining hiking trails! You can bring your tent or enjoy our INSOLITE TENT ALL COMFORT or OUR VINTAGE CARAVAN, (see our other ads)

The setting

We welcome you in the middle of nature, surrounded by animals and greenery, our meadow is peaceful and assures you tranquility and relaxation.

The spots

You can choose to set up in different locations. Our meadow is not yet very shaded but there are some places that are and we install shade sails. The meadow is quite big and there are some distances between the camping places and the sanitary facilities. An unusual tent of 20m2 fully equipped for 4 people can accommodate you as well as a vintage caravan, 4 people.

The sanitary facilities

We put at your disposal a sanitary with dry toilets and independent solar shower.
All the products used must be certified BIO in order to preserve the earth.
Electricity is supplied by the ENERCOOP network, guaranteeing 100% renewable energy.
Vegetable waste is reused and can be directly given to the dwarf goats and chickens whose enclosure overlooks the meadow, or come to enrich our compost.
We live on site and will be available if needed!

The amenities

Our site is declared and can accommodate up to 20 campers or 6 tents.
We offer a fallback room in case of bad weather.
A fridge is installed.
Electrical outlets are at your disposal.
A small tent is set up in the meadow to facilitate your organization (food storage, shelter, meals) with a table and benches.
You will be able to settle down around a corner made of wood logs where you can make a fire (wood on the spot).

The activities

We are located in a hamlet.
You can walk to the lake of Bancalié in 10 minutes and walk on the hiking trails!
We are located at 10 min by car from the village of Réalmont where you will find all the local shops, at 20 min from Lautrec, one of the most beautiful village of France and 25 min from Albi, classified by the Unesco!

Other things

Our meadow is not entirely wooded, so we have started planting trees.
There are some shady areas and shade cloths are stretched in the summer to create spaces protected from the sun!

Rules

Our site has an independent access, so there are no time constraints.
It is important that everyone respects the place and makes sure to leave it clean.
We propose to provide you with the hygiene products to the organic standards if you do not have any, for a participation.

  • For me, it's been nothing but happiness, the setting is great, the hosts very friendly. The dry toilets are super efficient, it's great. Just make sure you have a real inflatable mattress to put your sleeping bag on, as the little 3cm thick inflatables aren't enough to smooth out the uneven ground. ????

  • We arrived with 2 small children with a bit of bad weather. Arnaud and Nadege welcomed us very well and even gave us a hand to set up the tent. They had prepared us a great little spot in the shade on flat ground with freshly cut grass on the ground. We preferred to move to be closer to the fire place where we could cook and spend a nice evening. The common areas (shower and toilets) were impeccable and comfortable. We were able to take advantage of the folding room to make the children take a nap when it was too hot or have breakfast when it was too cold for them. The only downside for us was not being able to combine shade, proximity to the fire and flat land in one place. The land is being developed by Arnaud and Nadege who have already planted trees and are planning to level some areas to make them a bit flatter. We had an excellent stay with the comfort of the sanitary facilities and the folding room (with fridge and electricity). We strongly recommend meeting this charming couple and always ready to make you discover their passions (permaculture, music...). This place is also ideal to discover the Tarn (between Albi and Carcassone) and near a lake where you can cool down in case of big heat.
