Bush camping sites at Catninga, a hidden gem in the Flinders Ranges. A short drive from Port Augusta and only 3.5 hours from Adelaide it is easily accessible for the weekend traveler. With stunning views and abundant wildlife it is a must do on your camping bucket list.

The setting

Bush campsites have fire ring for your camp fire (excluding fire ban days), natural vegetation, native wildlife and birds in abundance. Campsites are set at a good distance apart for campers privacy.

The spots

Bush campsites are located along a Red Gum creek bed with shady trees, beautiful views of the Flinders Ranges as back drop, and the blue waters of Spencer Gulf in the foreground. At night Port Augusta city lights twinkle in the distance. Dirt access road is suitable for most vehicles if driven with care. Caution needed for low long vehicles. Please discuss with us prior booking if you have a low and long caravan.
