Description

I tried to make a presentation for different styles of stays, + or - idle, + or - independent, + or - participative, it's up to you.

The setting

It is an old farm, on the commune of Loché sur Indrois, 5 km from the town.
It is totally rural, at the edge of the Baugerais wood, 4km from the forest of Loches. There are many circuits for walkers, or mountain bikers, or quad.
It is not difficult to see wild animals (game, heron etc..); Small shops around 5km.

The spots

Basic pitches on bare ground more or less shaded, more or less flowered according to season.
Caravan and motor home welcome in the farmyard.
Unfenced ground, with a small water room.
Possibility to welcome in my folding caravan (2 or 3 places with gas stove 2 fires and small electric fridge), see second announcement on the site.
Possibility to lend a small tent (2 places)

The sanitary facilities

You will have access to a bathroom (shower and toilet) at the inhabitant.
In addition to that, a rustic corner of dry toilet type is arranged in an old pigsty.
Possibility of a basic toilet (pitcher + bowl) in all privacy.
Possibility of putting a camping shower at your disposal (shower plugged into the cigar lighter with a tent shower cabin and hot water canister; please inform us 4 days in advance to have this accessory).

The amenities

Awning serving as summer kitchen, plancha, small fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, garden table, night lighting for summer evening.
Possibility to put some (email hidden)Possibility to lend 2 bikes, (email hidden)2 electric plugs are accessible outside.
Only the space under the awning is lit.
I can also propose to lodge in my folding caravan, for 2 or 3 people (with fridge, gas stove 2 fires, and electricity).
However, if you wish to take advantage of one of these accessories, it is necessary to inform me at least 3 days in advance.
For the caravan I ask for a small supplement; I invite you for that to consult my second advertisement on this site, thank you.

The activities

On the spot, walking, local festivals, some historical monuments to visit (Chartreuse du Liget, Citadelle of Loches, Castle of Montrésor), lake of Chemillé (arranged in family nautical base).
Natural swimming in the Indre river at 5 km, very nice for families. Pony club (pony and horses) at 15 minutes.
Verneuil golf course at 30 minutes, ULM airfield at 10 minutes.
One hour drive from Tours or Blois or Châteauroux.
20 minutes from the Beauval Zoo and the Seygi water sports center, half an hour from the Haute touche animal park. Foret des livres in Chanceaux près Loches last weekend of August.
And a little further by car, the Loire castles in the north, and the Brenne ponds in the south.
Also one hour drive from the Chaumont Gardens (international garden festival of Chaumont sur Loire), 1h30 from Georges Sand's house
My mare Pouchka and I are ready to take you for a walk in the forest, if time and my availability allow it.

Other things

Possibility to pick some fruits or vegetables depending on the season. For the specific needs of the camper (emptying) we have to see.
There is always "garden maintenance" to be done, if you wish and if you know a little bit about it, a little help for the garden maintenance against "reimbursement" of a part of the reception fee, make me the proposal at the beginning of your stay...we can always arrange it.
I tried to make a presentation for different styles of stays, + or - idle, + or - independent, + or - participative, it's as you wish.

  • We were very well received by Henry and Claudine. Discovery of the region which was a discovery for us.the laptop and full of photos of the village of montresor. A very nice place for us to stay.

  • This was our first home camping experience with my husband and our two boys. It was quite exceptional. Claudine, Henri and their little girl are extremely welcoming and warm. They did everything to make us feel comfortable. A very nice meeting. The place in the middle of the countryside is very beautiful, soothing and invigorating. Getting up in the morning, seeing the sunrise over the water with the frogs, Pouchka, Claudine's mare and Ninouche, a very sociable and affectionate little cat, is a real pleasure. The terrain is perfect for our very large tent. The summer kitchen is very practical and we shared pleasant moments in all simplicity. We will come back, for sure. First of all for the pleasure of finding this beautiful family but also to continue to visit the region. The stay was too short!!!

  • In the middle of the countryside, quiet, near Loche and Montrésor. Good welcome and restful sleep! Thank you

  • A very nice first experience at Claudine and Henri! A magnificent setting and very welcoming hosts.
We will keep the address and hope to meet again at our place ????

  • A natural and smiling welcome for a night in the heart of a beautiful countryside. A stopover to recommend !

  • We spent a very good Week end. Warm and welcoming hosts, charming place. Forest of Loches accessible by bike with a small step on the road (few vehicles).

  • Very nice location to discover the south of Touraine and warm welcome.

  • We were very well received by Claudine in her pleasant garden. The main amenities are available independently and Claudine is very accommodating. In view of the bad weather she was ready to lend us her caravan and mattresses. She knows how to be both available and discreet. We got to know her adorable cat and her beautiful horse. The surroundings (Loches, forest, villages) are superb. To be redone.

  • A very nice first experience of gamping in family at Claudine's place. Claudine's welcome was perfect with nice little touches (advice in the surroundings, installation of swings for the children, provision of a stove because we had a problem with ours,...). The site is very beautiful and quiet, the ground is flat and the sanitary facilities are impeccable. I strongly recommend it.

  • Great place for a quiet country break before the ZooParc de Beauval!

  • The stay was short, but in this short time Claudine was a very pleasant and available host. The place where we pitched our tent is a real haven of peace for people in search of calm and greenery. We will be happy to return for another discovery of this beautiful region

  • We spent a night with our family at Claudine's house in order to be able to go to the Beauval zoo very early the next day. The setting is great and the place is very quiet. Claudine had even prepared a small itinerary for us to get to the zoo more quickly (which was very useful). If one day we have to return to the region we will return without hesitation.

  • It was a joy to be Claudine's first gamers. We appreciated the availability of the amenities for our overnight stay. The place, secluded, allows calm and tranquility. The friendly presence of the horse adds to this serenity. Claudine took the time to share with us a moment of conviviality around a coffee. We recommend this very pleasant stop.
