Description

For several years now, we've been welcoming tent campers who appreciate the natural setting and terraces of our charming 13th-century historic site.
There are also two gîtes, but the estate is large enough to accommodate everyone.

We are located between St Laurent le Minier and St Bresson on the D110.

We recommend a minimum two-night stay.

The setting

An enchanting setting with breathtaking views over the valley.
In a 15-hectare forest estate.
Absolute peace and quiet for relaxation, idleness or sightseeing in the Cévennes.
UNESCO world heritage site
A place to discover for nature lovers.
Between Ganges and Le Vigan, at an altitude of 350m.
Less than an hour from Montpellier and the sea.
5 minutes from the Cascade de la Vis and its valley, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim.
Hikers will find their paradise on the many Cevennes trails.

The spots

We'll be delighted to welcome you to a 4-person tent pitch in the shade of ash trees, accessible by stairs. Cars can be left on the nearby path.
this pitch is about 80m from the mas, where the sanitary facilities are located.

A terrace under a cedar tree, next to the kitchen area, is available to campers, with wooden table and benches, swing and sand pit.

Other terraces can be shared with other guests, as well as a ping-pong table (in the cellar), a dart board and more...

The sanitary facilities

Independent, permanently accessible sanitary facilities in the basement of one of the Mas' houses.
Facilities available:
Shower, WC, washbasins.

  • The owners are very nice, the view from the terrace is great.

  • Great stay
    very good reception

  • I spent a few days in the forest at Christiane's house with happiness. Close to the pretty village of Saint Laurent le minier and its river and close to nice hiking trails. Cirque de nova elles not to be missed when going down (and up).
I recommend the place and the welcome of Christiane

  • Perfect stay, ideal location to discover the region. Very good welcome from Christiane. Everything is available for a successful stay.

  • Superb stay in this place perched on top of the valley. The view from the table d'hôte is splendid and Christiane's warm and attentive welcome is really so pleasant!

  • Lost in the middle of the Cevennes mountains, this natural campsite is very pleasant.
The covered terrace offers an exceptional view
However, two sites are located on the edge of the road (even if not very busy) and one site offers a very stony terrain where the sardines have a hard time being useful!

  • An excellent welcome! Even though we booked only 3 hours before arriving... Thank you Christiane ! The view is just impressive, the setting charming. In short, we had a very good night :-)

  • A nice setting for hiking around.

  • Thank you Christiane for your kindness and your good advice. We had a great time at your place.

  • Great location, great view of the village below and the mountains around. We loved it!

  • A beautiful week spent visiting the surroundings (Vis waterfall, Bamboo grove, Cirque de Navacelles...).
The setting is magnificent and exotic... The pretty farmhouse is located in the heart of nature!
We recommend this place and wish a good continuation to our hosts!

  • It is true that a little less stony ground and a little more sanitary facilities would improve the experience.
That said, hanging out in the shade of the pine trees facing the mountains and enjoying the starry nights are worth the detour.
Thanks to Christiane for her welcome, it's a pleasure to meet someone who loves her region!

  • I just spent 4 nights in this beautiful domain, very pleasant stay, and great welcome from Magali, very interesting exchanges. Beware however of the sloping ground (I have a very large tent) and stony, plan accordingly.

Thank you Magali for your welcome, I hope to see you again.

  • We had a very good stay. The region is magnificent and Christiane very welcoming.
Only negative point: the only one very stony but this detail is very quickly forgotten.

  • We spent a very good night at Christiane's house. The house is beautiful, the environment quiet, with a beautiful view on the surroundings. All amenities are present, and Christiane is very welcoming and attentive. A great time, thanks again!

  • Very beautiful region for hiking. Christiane is very welcoming. Bring a good mattress and spare sardines ;)

  • One night in a tent at Christiane's place. The setting is really beautiful, quiet, and all the amenities are there.... Hammocks, showers and toilets, fridge, coffee maker. Christiane welcomed us very well and advised us. Her farmhouse is worth the detour and its history is interesting. Thank you for everything and see you soon
