Description

Very quiet situation (we are the last house in the street!) in a small village of Southern Burgundy. No difficulty to park in front of the garden.

The setting

The house is surrounded by meadows (breeding of Charolais). Small river at the end of the garden. Barbecue and (email hidden)And, if needed, garden table and chairs.

Many activities to do in the surroundings (visits of historical sites and monuments : castles of Cormatin, Brancion, Berzé or Pierreclos (to name but a few), City of Cluny and its old abbey, visits of wine cellars (Côtes Chalonnaises and Maconnaises, proximity of the Beaujolais region), many churches and Romanesque abbeys, Roche de Solutré....), sports activities (hiking, running and trail, horseback riding, fishing, bikingo....) An embarrassment of riches!

The spots

Grass land only. The site in the orchard is shaded in the morning. It is further away from the amenities (barbecue, toilets, shower...). The pitch in the main garden is facing east. On the other hand, shower and toilets are more easily accessible.

The sanitary facilities

WC and shower in the main house

The amenities

Barbecue, garden table and "hard" room (small shed of 20 m2 with table, chairs and benches) for dinner in the evening or when it rains.

The activities

Small village with a dozen shops (butcher's shop/caterer, 2 supermarkets, 2 bakeries, pharmacy, tobacco/press...). Possibility to make many hikes (typical landscape of south Burgundy). Numerous sites and historical monuments to visit within a few kilometers (numerous Romanesque churches, Cluny, Château de Cormatin, Congrégation de Taizé, Tournus, Brancion...). Cellars of the Côtes Chalonnaises and Maconnaises are also nearby.

Our garden is open to all, with respect for each other and the neighbors. For smokers, please do not leave cigarette butts lying around. Thank you very much.
