Sylvie N.If you're looking for peace and quiet, Brigitte's is the place to be, awakened by the sound of birds, not by the noise of cars or crazy campsites! The grounds are large enough for everyone to feel at home in the plant alcoves. It's great!

Aurélie P.We only spent one night with Brigitte. Accessibility difficult and narrow to reach the ground because hedge we maintained.
To access the sanitary facilities, we had to pass through her house, which was not specified in the advert. It's a smoking house and hygiene is limited.
It could be nicer with some maintenance both inside and out. We do not recommend Brigitte's house with children. -

Christophe D.Quiet and pleasant place in the countryside, close to Port des Barques and Ile Madame (horse-drawn carriage ride and fishing on the island, pretty sunset and beware of tide times).
Rochefort by bike via the soubise boat (watch out for tide times) or by ferry).la Rochelle and île d'Oléron are a 35-minute drive away.
Thank you Brigitte for this improvised mini concert and to all the campers and neighbors that evening (Jp,Francois,Tom and Nino ,Laurent and Geraldine, Sandrine Pascal and Marie Noël etc).
And for the elderberry juice and homemade jams.
Brigitte is like a second mother to all the campers passing through.

Thomachoux M.Super-quiet, nice neighborhood Clean amenities, sheltered fridge and electricity available; top welcome: barbecue, aperitif, live music, herbs, vegetables and fruit on site and even eggs... Brigitte is a pleasant host, accommodating although uncompromising on her principles. A great stay to recommend!

Maxime C.Brigitte gave us a wonderful welcome, and we were alone when we arrived, which was a great first night in the shade, a luxury in the middle of a heat wave!
We had a car problem on a track (don't always follow the gps...) and we could count on the mutual aid and the solidarity that are very present in Lupin! Thanks to Brigitte, great neighbors who came to look for us and found us the best mechanics of the area, very nice, human, and at prices defying any competition (400 instead of 900 announced in some competing garages open in August and used to "take care" of tourists :)
We will remember the 17th! ^^

Anne-Claire W.I thought I had already left a comment. We had a great stay at Brigitte's house despite the exceptional rain in early August 2021. Brigitte is very welcoming. Her garden is a small and quiet paradise. The children (8 and 2 years old) enjoyed the fruits of the garden and the fresh juices concocted just for them by the hostess. Every piece of advice from Brigitte was invaluable and the area we didn't know was beautiful and full of activities. Thank you again!

Marie A.Positive points: welcoming and very accommodating host, concert for the campers friendly, garden with trees and quiet in general, well maintained by the owner, not overlooked with the other tents, close to many sites to visit.
Negative points : cleanliness of the common places (bathroom and toilets not very well maintained, tap and shower to be repaired), it is necessary to cross the kitchen of the host to reach it, the dependence is a dusty barn which contains the green waste of the garden, refrigerator escaped from the years 80... we did not expect that, so we managed in another way (solar shower...)
It would be great with a good cleaning.
Apart from that, it was a pleasant stay and a friendly host. -
Sylvie L.A wonderful stay with Brigitte who is an equally wonderful person. A character!!! I loved it. The location was great in every way. The little concert was great. Blackberries and other fruits in free service on the trees, choice of the sites, the sanitary facilities in free access (of course, Brigitte is not responsible for the actions of its campers who have only the responsibilities to leave the places in good condition). In short, I recommend it!

Rather calm ground in spite of the cries of the small of the neighbors of tent (5 tents present) and "firecrackers" to move away the birds? in the fields close to 5/6h (situation in priority exceptional).
Surprise in the morning, dog droppings next to the tent :(
We regret the cleanliness of the place in general. Common places, fridge, electric plates, dining table ect and the bathroom where the cobwebs where its congeners have elu domicile.
A big clean up is necessary!
However, we appreciated the location of the place, in the countryside, close to Rochefort and the port of the boats. -
