Description

Hello ! Come and pitch your tent in Brittany in our garden, in the heart of the village of Daoulas :)
Your pets are welcome!

The setting

The garden benefits from both shady and bright areas at any time of day.
A village road (mostly busy during the day) passes close to the house, but the garden is large, so you can isolate yourself from it if necessary.

The spots

The plot is large, easy to access, with bright and shady areas, large trees all around, the village road nearby...
Tents can be pitched at the bottom of the garden, away from the road.

The sanitary facilities

The sanitary facilities are in the house.
The access is to be defined according to your needs (time slot in the morning and in the evening; access at night also but just avoid if possible to flush the toilet not to wake the family and for ecological reasons).

The amenities

you can recharge a cell phone, we lend basic crockery if you need it...
The washing machine can be borrowed for €2, and drying racks are available outside free of charge.

The activities

There are walking trails and shops within easy walking distance.
The beach for swimming is 5km away, Brest is 25km, Landerneau is 10km, the Crozon peninsula is 35 minutes away, as are the Monts d'Arrée, and Quimper is 30 minutes away...
Daoulas also boasts a magnificent abbey with a different exhibition every 6 months.

Other things

For access to the house, from 8am (the curtain will be drawn so you know when you can come and knock on the door).
During the day, we may be absent. Avoid access (shower, fridge...) after 8:30-9pm, as the little one is asleep and we need to recharge our family batteries.

Rules

Thank you for respecting our son's rhythm (noise especially while he sleeps) and our family's moments of rejuvenation (access to the refrigerator, shower...) if possible before 9pm. Smoking is preferred at the bottom of the garden.
Above all, we want to be of service while meeting people with a sense of contact :-)

  • On my itinerary, I booked the day before I went to Daoulas. My reservation was confirmed just as I arrived in town. I contacted Cédric immediately. A warm welcome, kindness and sympathy are the words that come to mind. The only downside for me was the hum of the nearby expressway.

  • Thank you for your kind and generous welcome during the two days we spent at your home! We really appreciated the experience, the exchanges and the recommendations, not to mention the charm of the garden, the house and the region!
Special mention to Telline, our bundle of joy, who loved playing with Aël ;)

  • My dog and I were warmly welcomed by Marie, Cédric and Aël. The camping area is pleasant, and even includes a hammock, table and chairs. I was able to use the house to take a shower (very satisfying after a day's walking!) and cook under cover from the rain. I'd like to thank all three of them for the enriching discussions we had! And a special mention to the doe who came to visit us in the garden. I won't hesitate to come back if I ever pass through Daoulas again!

  • A perfect welcome from these hosts. Respectful of everyone's space and full of good advice.
The grounds are top-notch and welcoming
Thank you three for this little stay in this region which is so beautiful.
    Hope to see you soon!

  • Marie and Cedric hosted us in their lovely garden for a night during our cycling trip. A warm welcome and a restful night's sleep. The center of Daoulas is just a stone's throw away.

  • A very quiet night, super welcoming hosts, thank you for your kindness and a thousand thanks for the shower.

  • Marie made us feel very welcome in her lovely grounds. Perfect for a stopover on the GR34!

  • Lovely family going out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible

  • Pleasant stay with pleasant people. They responded quickly and made us feel very welcome. We had a great time chatting with them and they gave us our privacy. Thanks to both of you.

  • Great hosts ! perfect welcome .... easy terrain to pitch your tent. Happiness to meet such nice people. Patrice the hiker (who is tonight in Landevennec), will keep a very good memory of it .... and says hello to you. Thank you to you good continuation Marie L

  • Hello,
We were looking for a place to put two tents.
    We made 3 beautiful meetings.
Thanks to Marie, Cédric and Aël for all the moments we shared.

  • Great welcome from the family. The land is comfortable, the neighborhood is quiet. And if you have time, eat at the bistro Entrepo pote in Le Faou.

  • Great night, great welcome, great family! Thanks again.

  • A marvelous welcome in a haven of peace animated by a family that opens its doors with all its heart.
I am still very happy and touched by this resting place, beneficial for the body and the soul, in a small corner of nature preserved and maintained with care.

Thank you to the hosts for these moments of great quality!

    Thank you!!!

  • Thank you very much Marie, Cédric and Ael for welcoming me so well. Your garden is a haven of peace where it is good to recharge.

  • Very good hosts
Please note that there are not many restaurants in the village during the weekend
    Thank you very much!

  • Camping in the home in all its splendor. A shady garden, access to the sanitary facilities in the house without any problem, advice to visit the region. Marie, Cedric and Aël are very welcoming, warm and bright. We feel that the quality of the meetings and the respect of each one are well part of their reception. We feel like we are among friends. Good luck in this life to you three, and thank you for everything.

  • We had a great stay at Marie and Cedric's for our 1st homecamp. We will do it again, thank you for your welcome :-)

  • Marie and her family are very friendly and helpful. In spite of our late request they welcomed us
welcomed us in an impeccable way. Their large garden is pleasant and the land is flat.
We appreciated their reflection on the environment.
    Thank you very much!

  • Great stay with Marie's family, beautiful garden with access to the shower and toilet in their house. They are very welcoming, I would come back with pleasure

  • A very nice meeting!
A nice little couple with their little man who is also adorable. For a first experience with Homecamper we couldn't have hoped for better. We left them with the promise to come back. To you future campers, don't hesitate, go and meet Marie, Cédric and Aël.

  • Very warm welcome in this great family.
A relaxing and pleasant stay to visit the peninsula of Crozon.

  • We made a (very) short stay at Marie and Cédric's place but it was enough to validate the quality of this gamping.
We were well received and immediately put at ease, the ground is spacious enough to feel good and rest. The shower/toilet areas are very clean and nice, we feel "like at home".
I recommend it for those who love simplicity and meeting people.

  • Good night spent in the garden of Marie and Cédric. Warm welcome, smiling and full of positive vibes.
Thank you for having received us and good luck in your future projects!

We hope to see you soon,
    Emilie and Romain

  • We loved to meet Cedric, Marie and Aël, 3 endearing people, we had a great time in their company but very simple and natural! When we left we had the feeling of leaving something behind, our hearts were heavy and our eyes wet, we hope to meet them again one day! We felt good with good positive vibes! We really recommend them!

  • Cedric, Marie and their son Aël welcomed me in a gentle and sincere way. I thank you all three very much, I am very happy of our meeting!
    See you soon ;)

  • Simply perfect! :-D
A very BIG THANK YOU to Marie, her husband, their son and their dog for this superb warm welcome ;-) THANK YOU for their sympathy, their smile, their good mood, their availability, their listening, their simplicity, their confidence, their advice on places to visit, hikes, etc. We felt at ease right away! :-)

    I recommend them without hesitation !!!!! :-D
