Sarah N.It is required on the site to book at least 5 nights, which we did. In reality, only 1 night is possible.
Windy site, the tents could not resist! No way to put sardines in the sand.
Average reception, Estelle arrived on the 2nd day while we were packing our bags after the storm of the day before. She stays behind the fence and refuses to reimburse us for the stay. We would have liked to be warned that the tents would not resist to the wind... Before settling down!
Attention, not of catch as indicated!
Sanitary more than rudimentary and dilapidated chairs.
Not a bit of shade on the roadside site, no sink, no light in the "shower" cabin.
It is up to you to empty the dry toilets and fill the mini solar showers.
In short, you will have understood, a rather lousy experience. -

I had no surprises, I was able to take advantage of the additional equipment year after year!
Estelle continues to call me each time before my arrival to know my expectations, we feel that she is really listening and very friendly.
A great bowl of oxygen each time, of solitude and disconnection. This stay allowed me to get out of my daily routine to enjoy nature, to get out of the comfort zone of the city, and to appreciate the calm and the change of scenery.

Catalin I.A super framework, we looked for the peace, we found it, we were alone! This stay allowed us to make the reserve of Sigean quietly. Indeed few campsites were open, or then that of the 3 stars therefore not what we looked for.
The fenced ground is a big +.
The access to running water is not present, so you have to organize yourself a bit, but with the water cans at your disposal, it's already quite practical.

The trains (which only pass by during the day and are few in number) did not bother us at all... it even had a little far-west feel to it :-)

Flavie M.We are a family with three rather small children, 5, 3 and 2 years old. We spent two weeks all five of us on the site that Estelle offered us near Port-la-Nouvelle. Located at 10min walk (with children) from the almost deserted beach of fine sand, we enjoyed the sea every day! Sand castles, kites, walks to collect shells were our daily life. It is exceptional to find such a site on the Mediterranean Sea. We could also enjoy the show that was offered to us every day with the sailboards, the floats, and the beautiful sailboats that pass off.
The location is quiet, the neighbors are very friendly. We had a closed ground with a gate, a hut opened for the meals, the pantry and a small refrigerator, a washbasin point for the crockery and the brushing of the teeth but also a dry toilet and a small cabin of shower out of wooden with a small solar shower. The minimum to enjoy a simple vacation. The water is not running on the site, it is necessary to refill jerry cans at the nearest super market. We had 8 jerry cans which allowed us to last two days with 5 people.
In the surroundings we found interesting activities to do with the family... aquajet is the most interesting for the children, at a short hour drive, we offered our children a day in the slides and water games that will not forget. We also visited the zoo of Sigean, it is an African reserve with many animals. Of course we visited the salt marshes of La Palme and enjoyed a guided tour in a small train in the heart of this salty atmosphere! The restaurant on site is very good. We also enjoyed La Franqui which is a 15 min drive away, a small seaside resort with many activities and restaurants. Le petit baigneur is a restaurant not to be missed!
We will be back with pleasure to spend our vacations in this little paradise which allowed us to be together as a family and to live at the rhythm of the sun and of our desires.

Marine B.I am a little disappointed with the location as it is oversold on paper. It is well specified that it is located between a railroad line and a road but the impact is minimized, it is also in an area where there is a lot of wind. I regularly bivouac and it is far from the return to the wild and relaxing nature that is promised to us. In fact, for the whole service, I find that the quality-price ratio is not justified.

Na W.Estelle is very good at giving advice and takes the time to explain to you in advance how life on the land works. A minimalist but welcome comfort for those who wish to free themselves from modernity in a privileged natural setting. View on the beach and the sea, no construction on the land (once on the beach you can see Port La Nouvelle which is a bit different but nothing nearby so there is a real wild/natural side), a railroad line (more like a freight train) gives even a far-west look after crossing the big sandy area to reach the sea (line not disturbing in our opinion). We were in the middle of a heat wave, a little more shade would have been welcome, but apart from this small detail it was a very good experience. Close to Narbonne, Leucate, Sigean...the beach offers a lot of space, no stones, clear water and very safe for children.

The only drawback is that at the time we were there (end of June) it was very windy.
But this is to be expected when you are so close to the sea, and Estelle can't do anything about it.
So globally, stay and ground at the top.

Yes there is a freight train not far away, but it never runs at night, so even for us who are not used to it we quickly forgot about it! The beach is huge and deserted and the sea at sunrise is incredibly beautiful! Without any hesitation, if you are looking for happiness in all simplicity, it is there! We hope that our travel plans will make us come back one day to Estelle's place, and we thank her again for her kindness and thoughtfulness. -
Johannes M.The pitch is really super. We liked it very much. The beach is very nice and it is quite lonely. Best of all we liked the starry sky at night - no light pollution at all. The place was not so easy to find, but has worked out. Estelle is very dedicated. The dry toilet is great, absolutely no stink. Probably you can camp wild on the beach, but at Estelle it is much more pleasant, there you can spread out in peace and stand for several days. We enjoyed it very much. If we ever want to swim again in France on the Mediterranean, we will definitely come back!

It would be, however good if the explanations to arrive on the ground were clearer. With the people we followed, our feeling was the same. Difficult to find your way with the indications provided, especially if you follow the GPS and that you don't arrive by the only road indicated by Estelle. -

The stay at Estelle's was just wonderful. The land matches perfectly the description, and it's even better! We are really right next to the sea. And it's not a beach crowded with tourists, but a huge expanse of sand as far as the eye can see, with very little traffic, it was magical! The hill of the other side abounds in rocks, in caves, in pines, and we have a great view on the sea, it is magnificent. The ground is really top: we have a shelter to be sheltered from the wind, and from the sun, and in more of that some small trees to be in the shade.
Concerning the equipment, the necessary is there: Estelle took care to leave us full water cans, practically 100L thus largely sufficient for 3 days, even when we are several. It also has individual toilets very functional and ecological, and a closed shower (with a solar shower system which allows to have hot water!). This stay was really rejuvenating, and in spite of the very wild place, the comfort is there. It's a very respectful place of the nature, which allows us to enjoy without consuming excessively, and it's what I was looking for.
For the prices, I find it very correct compared to the surface of the ground, when one knows the prices of the camp-site just next door much more expensive...
The communication with Estelle was wonderful, she was really attentive to my needs and listened to me. The feeling went very well, she is very accommodating and pleasant.
This place is a real little corner of paradise, we want to stay there again and again. I really recommend it! -

So we were a little disappointed not to be able to be in a preserved natural environment.
Off season it must be more pleasant. Therefore, the rental price seemed high for this environment. -

Patrice L.Very friendly owner. An ideal and wild ground. A beautiful view of the sea with swimming guaranteed at 400m. Small road at the edge of the land a little bit busy. Be careful when opening the gate. If you like wild spaces, sand as far as the eye can see, walking on the beach without stress, it's here. For walkers, port la nouvelle has 40min by the beach. Much less by bike. A big thank you. We had a hard time leaving.
