Description

Unusual accommodation on our campsite. There are plenty of activities to do here. For children as well as parents.

The setting

The cabin is located at the very back of the campsite with a beautiful view and consists of 2 buildings.
If you like to see castles, you can enjoy yourself here

The spots

A separate sleeping house (3x3m) and a living kitchen house (4x5m).
The house has a lot of glass and is therefore very light.
The sleeping house has a single bed and a double bunk bed. A baby/cot can also be added.
In the house there is a sofa bed for 2 persons, so you could possibly also sleep.

The sanitary facilities

There is a private outdoor compost toilet.

The amenities

The chalet has electricity, running water (cold), stove, refrigerator, pots and pans, cutlery, etc.
You can use the shower and the wifi at the campsite.

The activities

The children can have fun. On the trampoline, in the pool, with the go-kart,
on the swing, in the sandbox, in the big hammock or in the playhouse.
You can play soccer, badminton, volleyball on site.
There are horses.
Beautiful walks and bike rides, make beautiful trips.
Within walking distance is a river where children can enjoy, play with rocks.
There is also a deeper place where you can swim.
There is a swimming lake at 10 km with a beach
If we organize a canoe trip, children can also participate, accompanied by adults.
Also at 10 km. distance is a very idyllic place near the Bosse where the wolvra mines were and I
can swim now.!
There is also a nice little museum there where there are all kinds of beautiful stones.
An amusement park nearby.

Other things

There are also many old towns to visit nearby.
~ the oldest oak forest in Europe
(the Tronçant) is also located here

Rules

You can get violin lessons for beginners. Advanced fiddlers can learn about gypsy music, French music from here to there, and Irish melodies. There is a small children's violin and an adult violin that can be used (if handled with great care!).

Poor
  • This place is not at all suitable for a family with small children. No security or cleanliness (dead insects on the ground, spiders in the fridge...) The high grass makes it difficult to access the dry toilets.

There was no information to find the place nor a phone number available. (We used Google Map as well as possible to find the place) Arrived on the site, no network thus no means of contact and in spite of that we had warned of the hour of arrival, nobody to welcome us. Fortunately we thought that maybe it was the manager of the camping stuck to the place and we finally found someone after a long time.

The landscape is magnificent and very exotic but I advise it only for adults who just want to be in communion with the nature.
