Christophe J.This site is located 15 minutes from La Gacilly and its wonderful Photography Festival; 15 minutes from Rochefort en terre, a pretty village and 30 minutes from Paimpont in the heart of the Brocéliande Forest.
Simon welcomed us in a friendly way. We slept in his nice garden in a tent. The bathroom is rudimentary but clean. Every morning at daybreak, what a joy to feel nature, to listen to the birds! Thanks a lot to Simon for preparing us good breakfasts in company of a very cute cat and a couple of very nice donkeys ;) -

Large and quiet plot of land! The only neighbors we saw were the donkeys, very curious and friendly.
Simon welcomed us with a big smile and is very close to nature. So he left the land in its natural state and used dry toilets, accessible in his house.
It's a great experience close to wild camping! But with the comfort of having access to the kitchen and bathroom at Simon's house at any time!
Simon also organizes breakfast (optional): coffee or tea, fresh bread, fruits, butter (salted breton of course) and jam... Very nice!
We asked Simon for the possibility to make a campfire, which he immediately accepted.
So we were able to create the official campfire spot for Simon!
Nearby, the village of la Gacilly (its photo exhibition in June! And its shops).
We could also easily visit the peninsula of Quiberon and Guerande in a day trip.
In short, if you want to visit Southern Brittany and relax in a natural camping, it's at Simon's! -
