Excellent-
The second night went as well as the first one in spite of a fulgurating attack of augusts... but apparently we are not the only ones ^^

The lot is in a great location. It's right on the canal and close to a pier. The setting is great!
For a truck it is very good, for a tent, the ground is a bit bumpy.
Be careful though: the electric plug can be a bit capricious. The water point (tap) works very well. For the toilets, you have to expect something very spartan: there is a toilet but it is outside without visual protection ... but it is still hidden from the road (very little passing). To flush the toilet, you will have to get a bucket of water (not provided).
We had a very good stay at Michel's, the toilets were not a problem for us.
We will be back! Thank you -
Very quiet place we took advantage to recharge the batteries thanks to the owner super reactive.

Very good Nice Corner to discover

A passage of 2 nights in a van, one of which was under the stars!
Oslo (our van) needed to be groomed (oil leak...) and thanks to Michel's knowledge, we found a garage at 12km (Village of Doix) which knew how to repair the van. We just had to spend one night in bivouac mode and the spot lends itself perfectly to it! In addition to running water and electricity, a small wood fire warmed us up in the morning!
To enjoy the spot, a hammock hung on the edge of the water will complete the decor!
We were afraid to be devoured by mosquitoes as we slept one night under the stars but nothing really bad during our stop (super dry period) -
The site is pleasantly situated at the water's edge, shaded and calm.
Nevertheless the ground is not at all adapted for a tent, cleared just before our arrival the ground lacks maintenance.
The land has a toilet, but it is placed on the ground with no shelter around it and not connected to the water. -
Stayed 2 days with Michel.
Excellent contact and telephone exchanges with him.
Ideal place to discover the Marais Sauvage by bike.
If the opportunity arises, I would gladly return to his place.
Sincerely yours.

Nice land by the river. Unfortunately there were some augusts but it's normal for the season. Possibility to make a campfire and that's very nice.

Very quiet location between two canals. Ideal to start cycling. Very nice contact with Michel. Be careful with motorhomes over 7m for the entrance maneuvers.

The site is very well located to discover the marshes, the pontoon is great to leave directly from the site in paddle, shops nearby!
Nevertheless a small drawback concerning the toilets, they are not usable in the state according to us, can be to review to indicate in the description toilets... But for a short stay no worries!
Thanks to Michel for his reactivity to messages. I recommend him ! -
Very well located in the Poitevin marshes with a convenient access to leave with a kayak. To make it perfect, the land would have deserved to be cleared of some clutter.
-
Super spot surrounded by canals in the middle of the Poitevin marshes, a tranquility disturbed only by the singing of birds, a small fishing area, water electricity drained, I recommend with host very nice thank you Michel

Very good stay in the Poitevin marshes, pleasant site between the rivers, and with the conveniences (water, electricity). Some maneuvering to get a long camper in, but once installed we were very well.

Good to help you out for one night but a bit basic to stay longer... The area is very nice, bucolic and quiet. Very good welcome too. We came to spend a night in August and were badly devoured by the august, that can be good to know to prepare for it...
