Description

We don't do this for money: we don't sell a service.
We put more emphasis on the conviviality than on the comfort and a "quality service".

The setting

On the banks of the Vienne river, next to the vegetable garden, we have chickens. There are street lamps but we can see the stars.

The spots

The terrain is flat. There is shade. Very easy access.

Situation
  • Marius and Claire were kind and welcoming with an openness and generosity which has amazed us during our visit to France.
The night in a ‘ready tent’ in their garden was peaceful and there were picnic tables nearby with views of the Vienne river. We managed a swim by scrambling through bushes and watched otters (loutres) swimming.
Welcome to visit us with your family in England anytime.

  • A small and simple place to put the tent, a refreshing view and a nice exchange with Marius.

  • Nice surprise when discovering the small garden of Claire and Marius, with the Vienne river as a horizon.
    It rocks at night.

We had a lot of fun discovering Claire's bookstore and café. Inspiring.

Thanks for the welcome! It was too short but very pleasant as a stop on our way.

  • If you want to be with open-minded and caring people, this is the place to be! Marius was super responsive to my late request. And I was very well received. There is a beautiful atmosphere in this place, and its garden from where you can hear the river flowing.

  • We spent 5 pleasant days with Marius and Claire. They welcomed us and their children. They put at our disposal everything that was necessary for our stay. A big thank you to them.

  • Good experience. Marius and Claire are welcoming and always there to help us if needed.
