  • Enchanted place. An hidden world behind a wall in the town’s center … so so fascinating we loved being there and also had a great vegetarian dinner cooked for us and served in the main house ( very reasonable price). The land needs work - but part of the magical feeling is probably his wilderness !

  • Merci pour votre accueil dans ce lieu, apaisant, composant avec l'histoire du lieu et avec de bons conseils pour découvrir la Charente !

  • A nice experience in the garden of this huge old house. There is a lot of work to do. But it feels good. We had dinner and breakfast in the house: that was very good. We also have seen the room of the old notoire who once lived there. A house with a story. We had a very good stay. Go through the red door!

  • Thank you for the warm welcome. The setting is truly idyllic and soothing. Nice discovery.

  • Thank you for your warm welcome!

  • What a beautiful place, full of history. Many thanks to Jean-Jacques who allowed us to explore and who acted as a guide to tell us the story of his house!

  • Sweet property and very dear warm hosts ! (:

  • They were both lovely. They speak excellent English and their place is delightful. If you have a big caravan, go and visit first so they can show you the options. The owners could not have been more helpful and I really enjoyed my stay

  • A superb place, a stop out of time in the middle of nature, a great welcome and fascinating exchanges, we would have stayed, we will return!

  • Thank you both for welcoming me and sharing a little piece of your story. If I have the opportunity next time, I will stay longer.

  • We arrived late but were able to enjoy a home-made dinner (starter, main course, dessert) from A to Z, delicious! Surprising and impressive place. We slept in our tent, in the calm and under a big plane tree. The breakfast satisfied us, all local or homemade, fruits picked the same day (at the minute). Thank you for your warm and caring welcome, we will come back without hesitation.
PS: Georges and Lucky (cat and dog) will know how to tame you

  • Good experience, large space and animals.
We enjoyed meeting pleasant and welcoming hosts, respectful of nature who knew how to advise us. So, a little canoe trip on the Charente, the best moment of the vacations according to our daughter, just after the cuddles with Georges, the cat.
    Amenities, supermarket, restaurant ... nearby.

  • Super reception, incredible place. We highly recommend you!

  • An original stop on our journey from the Loire-Atlantique to Limoges. By crossing the gate, we pass from the city to the nature. The entrance with our small caravan was a little complicated, the exit was easier by the other side of the domain. We appreciated the bucolic and peaceful aspect of the place.
Very pleasant welcome by Marie and Jean-Jacques to whom we wish good luck for the maintenance of their vast property.

  • Marie and Jean-Jacques welcomed us very well. They gave us the pleasure to discover their timeless home and their love for nature and animals. What a beautiful complicity with "Totor" the pig and "Lucky" the dog and all his companions! Many thanks. Just to note that a large motor home might have difficulties to enter the property.

  • Surprising place, very spacious, quiet, both in the village and in the middle of nature; we had a great time with you! We hope to come back one day and see the evolution of this superb place... Thank you!
Ul lec'h sioul e-kreiz an natur, dreist eo ! Ken ar wech-all...

  • I transmit you the comment of my father and his friend! :
When the people are as beautiful as the place it becomes a must.
