Description

Located in the Burgundy region, in the south of the Morvan Regional Park, our unusual lodgings are made in ECO-conception, immersing our guests in a totally preserved nature.

The setting

Although totally isolated, it is possible to have a view on the magnificent castle of Ettevaux, from the back part of the hut. The access to the hut is initially done on foot by a small path, starting from the parking lot, located in front of the castle. Finally, you can only reach this unusual accommodation by boat (boat or canoe) because it is located in the middle of the water.

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets to respect the environment, a basin and an outside shower (solar) to make you a toilet of cat by managing at best your reserves in water (20 to 40 liters in total). Ecological soap and shampoo are available.

The amenities

Lighting from rechargeable LED lamps (dynamo or solar) and glass jars with candles inside

Heating with a wood stove because it is a renewable energy very commonly used in the Morvan. The model used is loaded from above for safety reasons. Its dimensioning allows to have a soft heat, even during the winter months.

The meals on a wooden table and 4 chairs allow our guests to enjoy the breakfast or the evening meal served on the hut. 2 chiliennes invite to sunbath or to nap. Plays are also available for the evening.

A library that allows you to reread classic adventures (Robinson Crusoe, Jules Verne, ...), to recharge your batteries

1 large double bed (160 x200 cm) with bultex mattress and slatted base installed in the mezzanine, favors rest and an extra bench is available for a third adult (optional)

Boat ride on the pond (reserved exclusively for guests of the cabins)
Exterior visit of the Ettevaux castle estate (18th century)
Visit of the exceptional trees of the park of Ettevaux (diversity of species, remarkable sizes, bicentennial trees, ...)
Hiking from the domain by GR13 to reach the Mont Beuvray (1h30 to 2h walk)
Nature observation: fauna and flora (nature kit rental on site)
Astronomical observation at night possible thanks to the total absence of visual pollution (astronomy kit rental)
Possibility of fishing in our 2 ponds with personal equipment or fishing kit rental
Petanque, ping-pong (with deposit)
