The activities

Varengeville-sur-Mer : 7 km from our location. This village with its superb houses and villas is worth taking the time to discover. If you like hiking, you will be delighted along the Alabaster Coast. A place to take your breath away; the Saint-Valery church, overlooking the sea surrounded by its marine cemetery. You will see the graves of Georges Braque, Albert Roussel... For garden lovers, the Bois des Moutiers with its gardens and its park will enchant you with its very special atmosphere, its gardens with mixed-borders, its white garden, its garden with roses and its impressive park, depending on the season, with its azaleas, rhododendrons, Japanese maples, roses, hydrangeas... In the Le Vastérival garden, Princess Sturdza has transformed 12 hectares of coppice into magical undergrowth where the shapes, colors, and scents of more than 10,000 species and varieties are skilfully combined to make a paradise that enchants visitors throughout the year. Its team continues its work with passion.

The Shamrock or Hydrangea Garden. The collection covers an area of two hectares and includes 2,000 plants, including 1,200 different varieties (species, subspecies and cultivars) from nature and selections obtained for over a century by horticulturists. It has been gathered by Corinne Mallet since 1984. Some of the plants in this collection are unique in the western world. Most of them come from Japan, cradle of a great number of hydrangea species.
The Michel Ciry museum allows you to discover the artist's personal collection (paintings, watercolors, drawings and engravings).
Finally, the Manoir d'Ango. Former summer palace of Jehan Ango, a wealthy shipowner and patron of the arts, the Manoir d'Ango is a unique monument, with its exceptional Italian Renaissance architecture, its dovecote, which is considered to be the most beautiful in France, its site and its park.

Dieppe : Maritime atmosphere guaranteed. Our beautiful yurt in Normandy
is located 30 minutes from Dieppe. The fishing port of Dieppe is very well known because it is the first French port for the scallop that you can of course taste in many restaurants in autumn and winter.
The oldest seaside resort in France welcomes you. Stroll along the Quai Henri IV with its many colorful facades, along the harbor, and embark on a sea trip or discover Dieppe on board the little train. Enter the heart of the city with the Ste Catherine district with its light brick houses, the St Jacques church with its frieze of savages inside, the Grande rue and its numerous shops, its market on Saturday morning...

St Valéry en Caux : Our unusual accommodation is located 25 minutes away. You will appreciate its port, the Saint Léger district, with the cloister of the Penitents, spared by the bombardments of June 11, 1940. When the sea retreats, it leaves room for sandy beaches suitable for fishing and activities (sailing, kayaking ...). Take the opportunity to follow the GR21 hiking trail "Falaises et Valleuses du Pays de Caux".

You like unusual places ? Then don't miss the staircase of Sotteville sur Mer, a village perched at 60m on the cliff, with a staircase of 231 steps to access the sea.
