Description

The village is 7 km away by car or 30 minutes on foot by the path.
You will find all the conveniences: trade, bank, post office, station...
The access is a bit complicated, you have to be a bit adventurous: 6 km of unpaved track accessible to all vehicles from the village and 1 km of steep track to reach the house.
For the last part, it is better to have a high car or a small 4*4.
Otherwise, we propose to transport your equipment to and from the house (if we are available).

The setting

Unobstructed view on the mountain.
Two hectares of land, on flat grassy terraces surrounded by Scots pine.
Quiet, no houses on the horizon.
Birds, roe deer and stags if discretion...

The spots

The campers will be able to install themselves wherever they want, although two or three places are more suitable for this.
In particular, on the board where the trampoline and the kitchen shed are located.
Pitches are available under the pine trees in the shade.
The access is a bit complicated, you have to be slightly adventurous: 6 km of unpaved track accessible to all vehicles from the village and 1 km of steep track to reach the house.
For the last part, it is better to have a high car or a small 4*4.
Otherwise, we propose to transport you for your material at the arrival and at the departure.

The sanitary facilities

Outside, we do not yet have a real sanitary.
We are working on it.
For the moment, there is a cold water supply that heats up with the sun in the pipe during the day.
We have bags of solar shower to lend.
Dry toilets outside.
For more comfort, we suggest you to use our bathroom which is very beautiful...

The amenities

A kitchen hut is available with a gas hob and some cooking utensils.
The basic elements can be provided if necessary.
Gas lamps are also available.
A small supplement will be asked for these services.
A large wooden table is set up outside.
There is no electricity on the property but you can use an outlet in the house if needed.
We have an internet connection by parabola in the house, you will be able to use it but with moderation because we are limited.
If needed, you can also use the washing machine in the house with a financial contribution.

The activities

On the spot, you can rest in the shade of a pine tree, comfortably installed in a hammock, watch your children jump on the trampoline, help in the vegetable garden if you wish or of course take a walk that will take you to the Tende pass at the Italian border.
Frédéric can take you on a hike for an in-depth visit of the Vallée des Merveilles.
The Merveilles museum is free.
And you can do canyoning, rafting, climbing, via ferrata, accrobranche, fishing, cool off in a river or in the village swimming pool. We will advise you for all these activities.

Other things

Rules

No specific rules.
We love and respect our little piece of paradise and hope you will be charmed by it too.
However, we ask you to be careful with the fire during the big droughts.

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€7 / person)

On request, we can offer you a breakfast including tea, coffee, milk, fruit juice with toast accompanied by butter, jams and honeys of the house or local.

We can serve dinners or lunches or even aperitifs on order with local products.

Tent ready

We have several small tents of 2 to 4 places with mattresses and comforters.
A supplement will be asked for this service.
We also offer two other options: renting an empty tipi tent without sleeping arrangements or renting a tipi tent with all comforts.
