Description

Ideal location for walking countryside or for visiting Cheltenham, Tewkesbury or Gloucester.

The setting

Peaceful rural setting in a small hamlet (Hayden) on the edge of Cheltenham. There is a farmer's field adjacent to our garden, where one can see deer, pheasants, rabbits, etc. We have views west across to the Malvern Hills (30 min drive). We enjoy beautiful sunsets due to the open ground alongside.
There are many footpaths in the area, including one in the field alongside (which leads to a local pub restaurant (1/2 mile away) which serves quality meals.
15 minute drive from Cheltenham Town Centre. 5 minutes from M5.
No street-lights, so pitch black at night.

The spots

Flat ground for tents. No shade.
Water Hazard for young children!

The sanitary facilities

An indoor toilet is available at times when someone in house (most of the time). Would be ideal if campers also have their own portaloo.
Drinking water available via outdoor tap.
