You stay at about 40 km from Tulle, 60 km from Brive-la-Gaillarde and Aurillac, all three cities have a train station. Aurillac has an airport as well as Brive which is located at about 80 km.

The Dordogne Valley is a beautiful place for nature lovers, hikers, fishermen, architecture and sports activities.
It holds 3 labels of excellence: The World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, the Regional Natural Park of the Causses du Quercy and the Country of Art and History. Moreover, local producers will propose you a wide range of regional products (cheeses, delicatessen, pigeons, eggs, foie gras, poultry, trout, honey...)

Argentat-Sur-Dordogne is located at 20 minutes of the lake of Feyt, you will find :
- Shops: Super U, Casino, Aldi, bar.
- Restaurants : Le Sablier du Temps, Le Saint Jacques
- Activities : Escapade Nature Pays d'Argentat (canoeing, Stan-Up-Paddle, via ferrata, climbing, tree climbing, archery...), hiking, horse riding, cinema, swimming pool.
- Cultural : the Towers of Merle, the farms of the Middle Ages, the gardens of Sothys, the dams of the Dordogne Valley, the prehistoric caves of Rocamadour, the caves of Lacave, the Chasm of Fage and Padirac.

Tennis court, bowling alley, volleyball court, water games July and August.
Stand Up Paddle, Canoe, pedal boats, electric bikes, archery, tree climbing, fishing (fishing cards for sale on site).

Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the trash.
Dogs must be kept on a leash and animal waste must be picked up.
Children are under the supervision of their parents.

  • At the reception, the team is efficient and very pleasant. But I was expecting to be in a guest house, whereas it is a municipal campground. It is necessary to know it, not to be surprised at the arrival. The pitches are rather sloping, so it's a bit difficult to park. Pastries can be ordered in the morning, but unfortunately they are available from 9:30 am, which is a bit late to be useful.
