The setting

Mostly bird "noises", with the occasional bark and rooster. Sometimes, in the background, the neighbor's children playing outside...
A small road at the end of the property (1 ha) is used by the few villagers on their way to buy bread. There's no hurry... (except on the weekend of August 14th, the village fete, when you can hear the music in the distance).
A neighbor (a house) to whom I sold a small piece of land so that he could also enjoy the view and nature. But there's plenty of space! Another neighbor, a good distance away, with whom everything's easy.
A starry sky... A country view... And a magnificent sunset over the field... It's beautiful... All I have to do now is watch the tomatoes grow on my little permaculture mound, help myself to the plums on the plum trees that provide a little shade...

The spots

Near the 1st vegetable garden, plum or raspberry trees...flat terrain. Ideal for small or large tents, as well as for vans or camper vans. Direct access from the field, and you can pitch your tent under an apple tree.

The sanitary facilities

Since last summer, an area has been reserved for gamers. There's a 30-meter walk in the garden from the landing site to this area. You'll find a covered bathroom (unheated, but with hot water, just like in a campsite, but just for you) with toilet, sink and shower, a small kitchen with a brand-new fridge, but no hotplate, a small dinette with the essentials: electricity, sockets for charging your phone, and light.You also have access to a small covered outdoor eating area, where you can take shelter in case of rain or storm, with a simple but pleasant sofa, a small table and chairs. We respect the peace and quiet, after 10 p.m. for the sake of everyone and the friendly neighbors. Hot water.

The amenities

You can organize and simplify your life as much as possible: Wifi access, the possibility of recharging your phones and leaving them there, no worries, pulling an extension cord to your little corner of paradise if you need it, a brand-new hot-water kettle, sheltered washing-up facilities, all on your own. This space is adjacent to the garage, at a good distance from the house, where you can watch the raspberries grow, and where you can put your bikes and motorcycles, sheltered from the rain.

The activities

Walks in the area, the Lac d'Ecoute if it's raining, 10 minutes away, for a swim or the Dordogne, canoeing, and above all visits to magnificent places. I give advice and small booklets on the many beautiful villages in the area, caves, etc... Favorite activities of the gampeurs: yoga, meditation, hammock in the garden, play guitar for my greatest pleasure, (come with your notes, and I offer you my words ...) smell the air and life that awakens or caress my cat Fo who will come to say hello if you are friendly ...

You won't know where to turn: Rocamadour, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Sarlat, Martel, La Roque-Gageac, Le gouffre de Padirac, Les grottes de Lacave, Lascaux,...
You can also go canoeing on the Dordogne.

Rules

As people come here for the peace and quiet, I ask everyone to respect it.
Dogs are allowed if kept on a leash (a long rope around a tree if necessary, and if they are not noisy), as my property is not enclosed. The neighbors have a dog that sometimes wanders around our house and causes no trouble.
Smokers are asked to smoke a little away from the house and above all not to throw their cigarette butts into nature.
There is direct access from the mini road to your plot, which is mowed regularly so that motorhomes can enter without any problem.
The idea is for everyone to enjoy life, its spaciousness and therefore its peace and quiet. The gamers are on the garden side, passing in front of the 1st vegetable garden to go to their bathroom, kitchen and rest area, which they leave clean.
They're invited to leave with their garbage (garbage can, glass, pizza boxes), which is great fun.
The terrace area of the house is more my domain, but we're not savages...there can be family there in summer, and that's nice.
There's no set schedule, especially as access is free and autonomous, but we try to be quiet between 10pm and 9am, so everyone's happy...
So far, the campers are satisfied with their stay, some have come back, become friends, come to my concerts...so...Welcome to my home!
