Description

This is a great location and the best deal in town! Kids are welcome and there is plenty of room for them to run around. We love making new friends, but will respect your privacy, too.

The setting

Our house is on a quiet street with large trees and tons of wildlife. You can hear the ocean at night, but we are on the local tsunami evacuation street, so you can slumber in peace! You are welcome to pick berries and mushrooms when they are in season. The beach is a five minute drive and you can walk to historic Oysterville to tour the homes on the bay.

The spots

There are spots in the trees that would make nice camp areas and you can choose where to set up your camp. It does rain here, but we have walkways that stay fairly dry and we'll help you string a tarp in the trees if necessary. This is usually not a problem in the summer.

The sanitary facilities

We have a camp toilet for you and there is a water spigot.

The amenities

We have an extension cord, if you need electricity, and wi-fi is available.

The activities

This is just a simple, buy pretty, place to camp. The surrounding area is quite popular and there is plenty to do.

Outstanding
  • Our stay at Nixy's was wonderful. Nixy and her family meet us warmly and offered to help us with our bags when we arrived. They energy was very welcoming . She communicated that she was there if we needed anything but if we wanted privacy that is what we would get. The camping area is what she describes it to be on the gamping site. Oyersterville and the surrounding area is so amazing, the beaches are to die for. We would not hesitate to return to Nixy's and recommend it highly. Thank you again Nixy and family.
