Description

We have MANY camp sites available; please message with any additional questions.

The setting

35 acres of land available for Dry Camping; RVs, Travel Trailers, Vans as well as other types of campers; Riverton is located in Central Wyoming and is considered "high desert" at an altitude of 4956 feet. Space includes pasture, grassland and 100' Buttes; plenty of room to accommodate campers without crowding.

The spots

Guests will have the ability to explore the buttes; hike off the property onto public lands; search for gemstones among the many rocks just laying on the surface (you can dig a little also)
We are building our home and so will be available on site; I will give you your space but will be available Friday – Monday; my husband will be there all the days as he is retired. We will be outside gardening, relaxing, watching the eclipse! Feel free to join us if you like.

The sanitary facilities

There will be outhouses available for use; NO SHOWERS; NO HOT WATER; cold water available for hand washing, etc

The amenities

Drinking water, sodas, adult beverages, snacks available for purchase; eclipse viewing glasses available for purchase (please indicate if you need these)

The activities

Our Ranch is located approximately 11 miles out of Riverton City limits; small town living with quaint main street shopping available in Riverton as well as family dining. Wind River Casino is just outside of town and will feature special events during Eclipse weekend. High Desert climate at 4956 elevation.
Leave your campsite and take day trips to and from our location; visit the hot springs in Thermopolis, Sinks Canyon National Park, Jackson Hole or beautiful Yellowstone National Park. Ride your ATV, or walk, onto public lands; or walk the buttes; the choice is all yours.

Rules

Please respect other guests; leash your dogs; pick up after yourself disposing of trash in designated areas.
