Situation
  • Christine's family campsite is functional, with everything you need for a good camp. The place is quiet and friendly. Breakfast was no longer included, as indicated on the booking, but Christine still offered us tea/coffee before we set off again.

  • We certainly wouldn't recommend spending the night at Christine's! It could be a nice place, but in our experience, it's neither quiet nor family-friendly. There's a large truck permanently on site, and the owner played techno music most of the night. He and his friends were drunk and we didn't feel safe. From the comments, we're not the only ones to have had this experience. It doesn't seem right to us for the owners of the site to put a family in this situation, what's more for an exorbitant sum for 7!

  • Nice to experience camping at a forester's working home where the family did all they could to make my two night stay a comfortable one.

  • It is very regrettable that we were warned at the last moment, of a party on the camp-site which was programmed since one year, we had to undergo until 3h30 of the morning music with loud lights. We had just cycled 100 kms and the next day we left for another 100 kms after having slept very little. If we had known about this situation beforehand we would certainly have chosen another accommodation.

  • A little disappointed to have to put such a note but I don't have much choice.

This person put an erroneous address on the site and the evening of the arrival with my girlfriend by bike we bitterly noticed this error, in addition to that the owner assured me on the phone that I did not know how to read a map (I assure you that I was in the right place) and I had to find a backup solution with inhabitants kind enough to accommodate me. The person I spoke to on the phone was extremely unpleasant and invited me to "figure it out". I see that the problem of location is still not solved so don't go there.

After several requests and despite the fact that I am clearly not at fault here, Home Camper as well as the owner refused to reimburse me which I personally find unacceptable. I didn't want to put this note on the website at first so as not to burden the owner but faced with this reaction and the absence of a quick answer from him I am obliged to put the minimum note.

A good advice: run away from this campsite

  • Poor quality/price ratio. Problem of positioning. The setting lends itself very well to a slightly rootsy stay which we did not dislike. The children enjoyed seeing the goats. But for 50 euros a night for 2 adults and 2 children, you have to provide services equivalent to what you would find in a campsite. But the facilities were not sufficient for the number of people on the site: 2 showers with transparent doors and a small cumulus, so cold water, few connections, not very secure. It's a pity because the place is very quiet, the permanent staff are very polite and discreet

  • I have to put a star ....
Where did I bring my children?
Bad address on the site, dogs barking, shower water very doubtful (smells like mud), concrete in front of the entrance of the toilets, electric cables hanging in the showers, no light, car wrecking at the entrance, techno music until 6:30 in the morning, missing breakfasts that I charged, and I go on.
The good comments are several years old and the address has changed ....
Thank you homecamper for this sordid night.

  • Wonderful people, easy-going and sencere and kind hosts! Grounds and amenities are clean and the energy amogst campers is friendly and respectful !

Camping area is set apart from the residence giving campers freedom and space to enjoy camping at the 'farm',.

This is truly what home camper is about!

  • This is a basic camping with many clients but only 1 toilet and 1 shower.

Nothing special or renewing. Not what we have expected from gamping. We moved to a regular campsite closer to sea and it was even cheaper and higher quality. Real overpriced gamping!!

  • Nickel

Super terrain. On a adoré.

  • Great and scenic place to camp with loads of space in the large green garden. The host family is nice and caring. The breakfast we got was croissants and baguette and marmalade and was more than enough for us.

The barn has a stove and seating area sheltered from the rain.

Scenic and calm within the nature.
