Welcome !

The setting

You camp in the orchard or in the wooded place in the back. As it is a real rural setting you may be woken by the neighbouring farmers doing their job.

The spots

You can pitch your tent or park your van wherever you wish. The larger motorhomes are subject to a few limitations the re both shady and sunny spots. You may also settle fro the cabin or the caravan.

The sanitary facilities

We have a modern toilet and a shower with a view (if you wish), enough hot water for a lengthy shower there is also an extra sheltered wash basis outside.

The amenities

WiFi is free. We have a wood fired stove, a bbq, a kettle, espresso machine, ice cube machine, fridge, table- and kitchenware, all the basic ingredients and more. No need to bring chargers and/or cables.

The activities

You may visit one of the historic town, Kinderdijk, other mills. Swim in the river or visit close by cities like Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam.

Bread from the oven, egg (boiled, fried etc), cheese, confiture, butter, fresh orange juice, tea/espresso/chocolat, charcuterie.   • Address that we do not recommend! despite the welcome of Alexander and his wife. Very expensive for the service. At the price of a great camping and nothing to see. House that I thought was abandoned seen from the street, no name on the mailbox or other to help visitors, we lost 20 minutes before understanding that it was thanks to a neighbor. Soaked ground, not flat. Mosquitoes (land between 2 canals). Farm with many animals in sight. And above all... washbasin under a yard with 2 simple hoses for taps and in the middle of all the household's rubbish, old dirty barrels etc., shower with an old apple fed by 2 valves as a tap, in a room open to the view by a plexi window on the whole height and with a door that does not close completely, and butcher's hooks !!! (The carpet at the entrance of the bathroom and the outbuilding has big pimples, a shoe-scraper so hello feet if you want to get dressed... which was my case for lack of another place, as for the toilets, they are normal, current, but the same as the rest, in an uncleaned room. Nothing is done for the visitor! And at this price, 15 euros per person! it is not possible Alexander, sorry, and not to warn the visitor of what awaits us at your place and at what price! seemed to us impossible. Lower your price by half for the water on your property and make your sanitary facilities normal, clean and welcoming (butcher's hooks that spoil all clothes!! for any water room furniture. ) and it will be more respectful and honest on the price side. Photos taken as proof of our unfavorable opinion. We are simple and do not expect the moon, not at all, but the dilapidation associated with a lack of basic equipment it is not called a welcome.
