The setting
Skoolie Beach is set about 1/4 mile off the highway tucked back in between towering Live Oaks, and Palm Trees. As you walk the property you are welcome to search for treasures in the sand.
The spots
Sleeping:
There is a queen size bed and a couch that can be turned into a single-sized bed, so you can comfortably sleep 3!
Skoolie Cleaning:
The bus is will be cleaned and made ready for you and the bathroom will be stocked with linens. There is Laundry onsite if you are staying long-term and need to clean your clothes/linens.
Note: The water on site is from a well. It is safe to shower. Locals drink the water but it is salty and rich in iron. Please feel free to bring your own drinking/cooking water.
The sanitary facilities
Inside The Wonderland Skoolie is shower with hot water, sink, and dry flush toilet. The bathhouse on the property has a shower with hot water, vanity, and sink. Washer and Dryer are also available.
The amenities
The Skoolie is fully electric and has running water.
In the kitchen, you will find basic kitchen equipment.
Sheets and towels are provided.
The activities
Transportation:
Charleston International Airport is within an hour drive. The historic city of Charleston is only 45 miles away. Folly Beach is 55 miles to the northeast. Hilton Head and Savannah, Ga are close enough for a day's outing. If you need a bite to eat, snacks, or souvenirs there are local restaurants and shops close by.
