The setting

The setting is secluded and very quiet. There are beautiful trails to walk on on site as well as in the surrounding neighborhood. Deer and raccoon are the primary interlopers.

The spots

Several level camping sites are available, easily accessible to the parking lot. There is one level area for an extremely large tent. No campfires on site. Bring a cook stove.

The sanitary facilities

There is only cold water on site available from a manual hand pump. The toilet is a dry composting toilet in a small enclosed shed.

The activities

There is beautiful hiking onsite and in the surrounding neighborhood. The site is also close to Island Center Forest, and many of the island beaches.
