Description

The setting

Here, the vegetation (and in this spring season) is really interesting. Trees, mainly oak, plants (already identified (or not ;-)), flowers and grass... This forest has been exploited for its wood two years ago, it is now reborn from its "chainsaws blow".

The spots

You can settle down (in tent only) where you want, 15Ha, it is vast!...
The forest is very easy to access although with some relief. No maximum dimensions to respect for your tents, really, there is plenty of room!...

The sanitary facilities

Concerning the sanitary facilities... You will find dry toilets on the spot. For the toilet with hot water, our house (all wood covered) is located at 15 minutes by foot (2' by car).
Didier and Ariane will welcome you here and there at any time of the day for any sanitary request/need.

The amenities

There is no internet in the forest, nor a fixed telephone. However, the land receives a telephone network that goes up to 4G, you will be able to connect to the web (by your mobile) and/or through the house without any difficulties.
Concerning the cooking on the spot, I can provide you a small stove of type "camping gas", the best would be that you are completely autonomous on this plan.
I will bring you drinking water with a 10 liters jerry can from our house...
No electricity for the moment, we are studying a basic installation of solar panels, it is a project. To recharge your phone(s), it will happen at home.

The activities

On the spot, you will be able to rest. Our place is located at 15kms from the city of Auch where you will not fail to find what you are looking for (shops, bars-restaurants, boutiques of all kinds, pharmacy/doctor/hospitals...).
Many places around are very interesting to visit, the Gers is rich of history!...

Rules

Here, no schedule to respect when you will be on the spot, the access is very "free". Smokers are accepted as long as no cigarette butts are left lying around in the forest, you love nature, respect it completely. Children are welcome, you will have to check with them that they are also very respectful of the place as well as of the vegetation present.
No "wild" fire, or without the presence at your side of a person in charge of the place.
The forest would go up in flames in no time if the fire was not supervised.

Tent ready

We can rent you a tent (which is already installed) on the spot which allows to welcome 4 persons (1 room 3 places and another small 1 place).
A supplement of 5 euros per night will be asked if you are not autonomous for the sleeping.
