Description

Our geographical location is ideally placed to reach the main roads of Nantes, Saint Nazaire, Vannes either by using your own means of transport or by taking the train at about 5 minutes walking distance, which avoids using your vehicle and allows you to leave it in peace on the ground during your visits.

The sanitary facilities

Bathroom with sink, shower and separate toilet in an independent building close to the house, allowing a perfect autonomy, accessible day and night.
An exterior lighting by presence detector, allows the access to the building in full (email hidden)It is preferable to provide bottled water for consumption.

The amenities

A small fridge is available if needed, as well as a microwave, a kettle, and a sink for small dishes or hand washing in the same building.
For electricity, a plug is available outside the house and an extension cord is provided for power supply outside the house.
A ping-pong table, wooden games (shuffleboard, dutch billiards, triangle) can be lent as well as a bicycle to help out... At disposal, goals, to play soccer with loan of a ball.
Possibility to leave your cell phone to be charged easily in the building including the shower room in complete safety.
Possibility to lend a picnic table and an electric barbecue if needed.
Possibility of renting a Queshua 2 second tent for 2 persons with a small mattress and a sleeping bag for 5 euros per day.

The activities

Hiking in the countryside, the GR3 is nearby, hiking on the côte d'Amour, horseback riding and cycling. The nearest sea at 20 mns and the Loire at 10 mns by car.
In the town of Savenay, 3 kms from our house, there is a multi-activity lake (jogging, fishing with a map, pedal boats, canoeing, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor tennis, Accrobranche Tépacap and the park "La Vallée des korrigans" for young and old, ....) and a very large golf course.
In the marshes of Savenay and Lavau, from the top of the observatory, you will be able to observe numerous birds: herons, storks, kingfishers, sacred ibis of the Nile...
12 kms away, moored in the port of Cordemais, the TERRE D'ESTUAIRE Discovery Center offers you an extraordinary experience. On 2 000 m², a permanent course, a temporary exhibition, activities and workshops for adults and children, without forgetting the balloon which will take you in the air.
In Quilly, 14 kms away, an activity park: jet ski, flyboard, quad, water ski, towed buoy,...
On Ponchateau at 15 kms : canoe or kayak on the Brivet river...
In St Nazaire, 20 kms away, there are the shipyards, transoceanic liners, the submarine base, the visit of the submarine Espadon, the Ecomuseum, Airbus and not forgetting its numerous beaches...

On Plessé, 20 kms from our home, a lake of Buhel is ideal for family outings, or between friends.
The water ski lift of the pond of Buhel is accessible from 8 years old and allows to initiate or to perfect wakeboard, wakeskate, kneeboard or water ski.
Regularly analyzed and certified by the sanitary services, the Buhel water sports center benefits from a spring water supply of exceptional quality.
The leisure center offers sports equipment and numerous leisure activities, rest areas and games, so that everyone can enjoy their stay.
The beach of the Etang de Buhel is equipped with a supervised swimming area, practical and comfortable tables for picnicking, sanitary facilities and showers.

Very practical access to the following shops nearby: Intermarché, Pharmacy, Bakery and Pastry shop at 10 minutes walk, 4 minutes by bike and 2 minutes by car...Campers appreciate this proximity. There is also a 5-screen cinema and a restaurant/crêperie 2.5 kms away, making it easy to get there on foot.
Otherwise, we provide you with maps and brochures about the different activities and specific places in the area.
We will take great pleasure in informing you and will be happy to exchange with you to advise you on the places, activities and restaurants/caterers you have chosen.

Rules

Thank you for informing us of your arrival time for the first day (please establish with us beforehand according to our shifted working hours) because otherwise you might find the door closed! Thank you for your understanding.
Dogs and cats are welcome as long as they are docile... and not aggressive with children and our animals as we have a cat and a few chickens in the wild....We ask you to keep your animal on a leash during your stay. Thank you for your understanding.
Quietness is requested from a certain hour in order to respect the neighborhood.
As a place to relax, we do not accept animated and noisy parties.
It is strictly forbidden to make fire on the site!
No other specific rules, just common sense and respect.
