Grotta del Bue is an incredible place in the city of Solicchiata, rich in geological and volcanic history. In the middle of nature and close to Etna. All the comfort is available: supermarkets, butcher, bank, post office, pharmacy, bar, restaurant and even a small playground for children, everything is close and within walking distance. It is also possible to visit a prehistoric cave formed by lava movement 7000 years ago!

Grotta del Bue is a unique place, rich in geological and volcanological history, located in the town of Solicchiata. In the middle of wild nature and just below the Etna volcano. All conforts such as supermarkets, butcher, bank, post office, pharmacy, bar, restourant and a small park for children are close and easy to reach by foot. It Is Also possible to visit a prehistorical cave formed by a natural Lava flow almost 7000 years ago!

  • A very nice time spent at Marina's, the place is located on the side of a mountain at the edge of a village, all quiet, perfect to rest. The place for us alone. Marina is very nice, the cats will come and visit you. I recommend without hesitation

Beautiful view of the Etna, amazing cave, nice outside kitchen with everything needed, great barbecue setting – (the village has an amazing butcher with local meat ) and outside bathroom. It was super easy to find. Marina and her husband Alessandro were super friendly, and Alessandro took his time to show us the place and help us to have a amazing stay . we would highly recommend the place and we cannot wait to come back :-)
