The setting
The cabin is perched in the middle of beech and fir trees and is located near a stream with private access, water that can be heard from inside the habitat. On our 1 hectare plot of land, the view of the Petit Ballon is breathtaking! We culminate at 750 m of altitude. The road leading to the Schnepfenried Pass and the numerous farmhouses passes at about 100 m from the hut, so it is not unusual to hear 1 or 2 motorcyclists passing by (during the day only)... nothing too disturbing... a recreation area with games for children, a large wooden table and benches as well as a barbecue is available. All those who pass by to visit us say in general: "it is the paradise here" to you to taste it!
In the afternoon you will enjoy a beautiful light that will make the water of the river sparkle... magnificent...

The spots
The hut, perched at a height of about 8 m at its highest point, is ideal for spending the night.
It is about 5 square meters and is composed only of a bed on separate camp beds (cushions provided.) It is punctuated with several windows that let you appreciate the surroundings, and especially the beautiful stream that passes nearby. A staircase of miller must be climbed to go up there. There is double glazing. There is electricity and electric heating. Under the hut there is a solar shower as well as a small table and two seats.
The sanitary facilities
The dry toilets are close to the hut at about 20m, next to the henhouse! A solar shower to be refilled after use, is installed under the hut outside.
To have water for the dishes or other you have to use the river which is very close. No hot water. If needed a kettle will be available.
The amenities
A stove, dishes, pan, salt, pepper, sugar, washing up liquid, basin, sponge. Oven for tarte flambée/pizzas
the power is available in the hut, it is possible to charge easily his phone. extension cord available.
wifi is available near our house, outside.
A small clothesline is available in the cabin. A broom. Some (good) books.
