The setting
Sataredda vi accoglie in cima della colline Iblei.
Siamo a qualche km della strada principale, potrete approfittare della quiete che offre la natura.
A partire dalla nostra proprietà si può vedere il mare, Cava Grande e il monte Etna.
Sataredda welcomes you on the top of one of the hills of the Iblei Mountain (high plateau). We are some kilometers from main roads and the rush and noises of towns or cities, so you will enjoy the night's silence, listen to night birds singing, and the trees whistling. We live like in a small community, together with volunteers, friends who come to visit, we have dogs, cats, chicken and a big and funny rooster, and Frank, the little giant rabbit. We love getting to know people from different countries and cultures, talk, share ideas, time and music.
From our land, you can see the sea, Cava Grande in the distance and Mt. Etna, as well as the surrounding hills and town.
*For our and your own privacy, the camping site is slightly distant from the main house. Bring a head lamp or a torch if you have, if not, you can easily use your phone as a torch to get around also in the dark. Turn off your torch and you can see many many stars! And with the full moon, you can see without any lamp!
The spots
Your tent will be in the shade so that you can get enough sleep to be ready for a day in the sun.
The terrain is flat and the pitches for you tent are easily accessible.

The sanitary facilities
Showering can be done outside during the summer. The water is hot during the day. Toilets are outside.
We are equipped with shared indoor and outdoor kitchen; Breakfast and lunch always available on request and depending on our possible commitments; WiFi in the area of the house; Bathroom (Comport Toilet) & Outdoor Shower (solar power) and indoor shower with shared hot water
If you need a shower, you can use the outside summer shower. The water is warm during the day, but as it is heated by the sun, it will be cool in the night and in the morning. The toilets are all outside, they are compost toilets, which are easy to use!
The amenities
Non abbiamo il wifi. In Canicattini Bagni pero ci sono bar dove si può usare.
La cucina sta nella casa, non si può usare indipendentemente ma saremmo felici di mangiare con voi o di fare a mangiare con voi.
C'è l'elettricità solo nella casa, se volete caricare il telefono, non ci sono problemi, basta chiedere.
We do not have wifi. In Canicattini Bagni, though, there are nice bars where you can use free wifi.
The kitchen is in the main house. The kitchen is not free to use, but we are happy to share meals with you and cook together.
Electricity is available only in the main house. If you need to charge your phone, no problem, just ask us, and we'll show you the spot!

*Palazzolo Acreide: UNESCO site, greek theater and archaeological site.
*Noto: UNESCO site, baroque architecture.
*Syracuse : UNESCO archaeological site with a greek theater, a beautiful ancient city
