We spent a very pleasant weekend at Alain's place. A great welcome, very accommodating on arrival and departure, very friendly. A little corner of paradise, calm, shady, peaceful. The river 2 steps away, all activities nearby (canoeing, swimming, climbing, restaurants, mountain bike hire...). Sanitary facilities and shower, sink, microwave, barbecue, fridge, simple but all there! I recommend it and we'll be back! Thank you.

We had a wonderful week with Alain, beautiful shady place for our tent. The nearby river with incredible swimming spot and despite drought enough water for swimming is absolutely top. If not occasionally from the other riverbank and the campsites located there music would come, one would have the feeling of total isolation. Enough but so already. No car noise etc. because the one-lane road ends there. The narrow access road also saves the presence of oversized camping cars and caravans. Ok, the sanitary facilities are built a long time ago, but are always kept clean. And where do you always have a fresh bouquet of flowers next to the sink? You can buy fresh vegetables of top quality from Alain fresh from his garden. There are some excursions and hiking opportunities nearby, we could hardly use because of heat waves. All in all, ideal for a family with small children. We will certainly come back!

Not the luxury of a starred campsite, but the luxury of being in a quiet green haven away from the constant noise of unscrupulous holidaymakers.
I highly recommend this place for a return to nature in all simplicity but with direct access for each site, water, electricity and a fridge.

Living in simplicity, while having on the site water and electricity which is, not negligible, was a real disconnection. Nature lovers it is here that you must stop, calm and without fuss, as a couple, with friends or family. The little extra, Alain sells his fruits, vegetables and fresh eggs from his chickens ???? so what more could you ask for, especially for a good breakfast? Don't look here for swimming pool, bar and animation, you will be disappointed, but if on the contrary you are looking to recharge your batteries you are at the right address. The landscapes are magnificent. Alain is a lover of his region, he will guide you on the places to go, the markets and the activities to do. Let him guide you and enjoy this haven of peace.

The sanitary facilities are basic but fully functional...no parasitic and annoying lights on the site...it's great...
Only the light of the moon rising behind the reeds illuminates us... total calm...
It must be said that I was alone during my stay...
Alain is a very friendly host...his large vegetable garden provides very good seasonal vegetables...for me, it was the time of the strawberries, at very small price...a treat!

Nanou J.Alain is a welcoming person, he makes sure that nothing is missing for his guests. Always willing to answer questions and advise on activities or nice bike routes. We stayed 4 days, the site was of sufficient size and moreover it had a drinking water point.
For a modest extra charge we were able to have a fridge and electricity.
The proximity to the river is really a plus.
The small drawback would be the sanitary facilities, they are a bit outdated but for the price it is largely sufficient.
We will come back with pleasure and even longer during our next stay in Ardèche.

The pitches are well shaded and spacious, the facilities very good and well maintained. The proximity of the river promises beautiful days of walking or canoeing!
