Description

On the borders of Loire-Atlantique, Ille-et-Vilaine and Morbihan, half bivouac, half home stay, it is with great pleasure that we will welcome you in our home.
We seek to evolve towards more and more contact with Nature for our well-being and that of our children. Through this family experience, we will be happy to meet new people and to exchange with you if you wish.

The setting

We are located in a very quiet environment, on the edge of the Vilaine marshes classified as a Natura 2000 zone, an exceptional setting for biodiversity and hiking trails.
Our land is composed of a garden part, a "small" wood part, a part for small animals (chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats and sheep) as well as a marsh part where the ponies graze in summer.
You will be able to admire the sunset at the edge of the marsh, enjoy the songs of the many birds, walk in the paths that surround the village and maybe have the chance to see storks or deer.
If you wish, we will be happy to show you the animals of our farm which we try to develop according to the principles of permaculture, and to share with you our way of life.

The spots

The tent pitches are located in the "small wood" part of our grounds allowing you to benefit from the freshness of the trees.

The sanitary facilities

We put at your disposal independent dry toilets as well as a shower corner with solar shower. There is also a sink with 2 drums of drinking water for your dishes and cooking.

The amenities

We strive for autonomy and simplicity, so we do not have any electrical equipment to offer. We can however draw an extension cord for electricity (count then 1 € extra per person per day)
We put at your disposal a fire place with a grill and a tripod, a barbecue and a rocket stove.

The activities

We are on the edge of a local hiking trail of 16 kms, 4 kms from the Nantes to Brest canal by the paths.
You will find nearby:
- bakery, restaurant, mini-market, small organic and local market on Saturday morning in the village of Séverac (3 kms)
- water activities, horse riding, walks/rides with donkeys in Guenrouët (11 kms)
- pond with nautical activities and swimming in Fégréac (11 kms)
- Redon (15 kms)
- port of la Roche Bernard at 18 kms
- adventure course of Ile aux Pies in Bain-sur-Oust 25 kms (tree climbing)
- national forest of Le Gâvre at 25 min
- Brière Regional Natural Park at 25 kms (Saint-Lyphard, Kerhinet market)
- beaches of Pénestin or Damgan at 35 min
- Animal park of Branféré at 35 min
- Tropical Park at 30 min
- Guérande and the salt marshes at 45 min
- Rochefort en Terre at 30 min

Through my activity of craftswoman, I also propose workshops of discovery of the work of wool. If you are interested, do not hesitate to tell me.

Other things

As we have 2 children, we have a play area which is of course also at your disposal. However, we would like to point out that the children remain under the responsibility of their parents. Our children lend their games, and they appreciate that the friends they welcome take care of them.
We have an independent entrance which is a pedestrian or bicycle entrance.
Dogs are not accepted.

  • A real piece of heaven for an adventurous birthday party. The girls were ecstatic!

The spaces are well defined and maintained, shared with the animals.

  • Very good stay with Hélène and Jean-Marie! Very nice welcome and exchanges. Calm and inspiring environment. If I had to do it again I would do it with pleasure!

  • In professional mission in the surroundings of St Nicolas de Redon. I was very happy during my routes in Vtc to pose me and to have this spectacle with nature every day. For nature and animal lovers, you will be served. Helene and her little family are nice, attentive. You will not miss anything during your stay. An experience to recommend.

  • A small gap of 3km from the Velodyssée, and we were welcomed very nicely, in a garden, where chickens, ducks, goats, ponies... all under magnificent oaks. A wide view on the reed bed, a fire place, solar shower and dry toilets. We slept perfectly, our animal friends being very discreet (or really well behaved!! ;). We recommend this little corner of nature !

  • Thank you for your welcome and your kindness! Good continuation and beautiful summer!

  • a great stop in family with our 2 donkeys of hike. to see since its down: sunset on the marsh, first jumps of a biquette of 5 days. very good reception.

  • Very relaxing place, clean and easy to access. A beautiful space under multi-centennial oaks, under which we enjoyed eating, grilling and a good campfire. Amenities are as advertised and in keeping with the camper spirit we enjoyed. The owners are extremely kind and very discreet.
