Our off grid finca is 1,5km outside of a small rural Catalan village in the Tarragona region.
This is a beautiful area, the village is set on the banks of the River Ebré and is within walking distance of the finca. There are daily bus links to the local town 6km away, and rail links to Tarragona and Barcelona.
The whole area has fantastic views of the mountains and is ideal for relaxing or for the more adventurous, fishing, hiking, mountain biking and kayaking.
Our aim is to be as self sustainable as possible, by growing our own food using organic, bio intensive and permaculture practises, we keep bees, using natural methods, producing edible comb honey, we also have hens and have fresh eggs daily.

The spots
The accommodation is situated away from the main finca and has beautiful views of the mountains.
We have two Luxury Bell Tents 4 & 5 meters each suitable for two people complete with sprung double mattresses. The larger tent does have room for extra beds.
All bedding and towels are supplied.
Wifi is available near the main finca and there are places to charge phones and tablets free of charge.
We are against single use plastic and offer refillable drinking water free of charge and ask that you take away any plastic bottles you bring onto the site.
We love the Mediterranean lifestyle, we love cooking and eating good food. On our farm we grow organic fruit and vegetables that you can purchase, or we can provide breakfast and evening meals by request.
We specialise in vegetarian and vegan cuisine.
The village has a number of bars, some serve food, others just drinks, a small shop, mini mart, couple of bakeries, newsagents, post office, and a doctors surgery.
During the summer months, June, July and August the outdoor swimming pool in the village is open from 11am to 8pm.
The nearest beach is 30 minutes drive away.
Tarragona and Barcelona are accessible by car or the local train station, an hour or two hours drive away respectively.
The campsite is ideal if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and just relax and recharge your batteries or use it as a base to explore Catalunya.

€10 per night per tent and € 2 per person including children over 2 years of age.

Please note, we do not have facilities to empty chemical toilets on this site.
The sanitary facilities
A compost toilet and hot and cold outdoor shower with hand basin next to the toilet are both situated close to the camping areas.
The amenities
There is a covered cooking area with a gas stove, the kitchen is well equipped with kettle, pans, crockery and cutlery, cool box and a washing up area.
Basic store cupboard ingredients are provided. Eg salt and pepper, olive oil and vinegar.
