  • Splendid flat land overlooking the bay. Direct access to the GR34. Dry toilet under a practical awning. The access is by a road with a maximum height of 2,80m. Thanks to Marie-France for letting us share this magical place.

  • Thank you very much for the warm welcome, the advice on the ideal location and the luxury sanitary facilities on the campsite! Practical communication and an exceptional setting... especially to enjoy a sunset.

  • Very good reception at Marie-France's place on this splendid site stuck to the bay of Douarnenez. Bravo also the one who maintains the place.

  • Marie-France is a perfect host! Very smiling and with good advice on places to visit in the area.
We enjoyed this experience and will not hesitate to talk about it around us.

  • Thanks to Marie France for sharing her idyllic place.
The spot is just magical, looking forward to coming back

  • Very nice place / perfect location. I can only recommend it

  • It is a beautiful site with a unique view.
The sanitary facilities (dry toilet and solar shower) are very clean.
    We would come back anytime.

  • Beautiful site indeed, serene and soothing apriori.
But the welcome was much too dry and the campers were certainly rationed in terms of sanitary water in a context of shortage (1 well threatened to run dry) and almost deprived of drinking water. We were painfully granted 2 gourdes, and still, because "we are hikers", whereas the residents of the guest houses are apparently not limited in water!
The solar shower? Perfect if the tap was not broken.
In short, the site would deserve more harmony and less discriminatory feeling, linked to its undoubtedly contradictory uses. Perhaps the concept should be reviewed?
As for the drinking water that we have to beg for, we must be at the limit of legality. Thank you HomeCamper for checking this point and keeping us informed. Is the site really supplied by a single well and not connected to the municipal water network?
Note that this problem of drinking water does not arise either for the occupants of the camping cars which, thanks to their autonomy, will be able to really enjoy the exceptional setting.

  • Great stay! Great welcome in a beautiful and quiet place.
    Thank you Marie-France!

  • Marie-France welcomes us with a smile in an idyllic setting. I only dream of one thing: going back there.

  • Extraordinary experience, as soon as we arrived we were amazed by the setting : view on the immensity of the sea, magnificent sunset, access to the GR34....
Marie-France is a host who cares about the well being of her campers : well planted ground, campers spaced out, clean installations...
An experience to be repeated, thank you Marie-France for letting us enjoy this privileged place.

  • The place is beautiful and it's really nice that Marie France allows campers to access her land. The price is very attractive for the area and the comfort remains minimal. Dry toilets are clean enough and the solar shower is very basic. That said, everything is well indicated in the advertisement so you just have to read it carefully to not be surprised.

  • Very nice place with a splendid view on the coast. Perfect to go hiking.

  • beautiful view

  • Very nice night at Chez Marie-France, small arrangements that make the stay pleasant (the table at the edge of the cliff with the view on the sea is just magnificent)
I will come back next year!

  • The place is incredible and Marie-France is very attentive to everyone. The amenities for the campers are impeccable and the sites well chosen to be sheltered from the wind. Gr34 accessible at literally 50m! I recommend it.

  • Magnificent place of peace, calm and rejuvenating, thank you Marie-France by this reception to allow us to benefit from it!

  • Beautiful place on the coast. Directly on the coastal hiking trail. Solar shower and dry toilet works in summer. Other seasons possibly more difficult.

  • Great place ! Very good welcome :-) I recommend

  • A very nice place! We recommend it.

  • Magic place sunset or incredible dawn. Marie France shares this place and it's great. Shower and toilet OK.

  • The contrast between the exceptional setting and the icy welcome is striking. Moreover, we had the bad idea to book the breakfast and there again the contrast between the occupants of the guest rooms and us, simple van-campers is striking. A lousy breakfast for the price asked and in a corner of the kitchen because of the rain (normally planned on an outside table of a side terrace) not to disturb the guests who had the right to a royal service in a big room with windows on the sea side.
We found such beautiful places without feeling so badly accepted.
Last thing, the first words of the hostess were: "Oh it is immense your van (Ford transit fitted out Randger of 6m), it will be necessary that check that"... as if we risked to damage the site?
In short, breathtaking setting, contemptuous welcome!

  • Beautiful place and very good reception. An address to keep.

  • We had a wonderful stay with Marie-France. She is a very charming woman who takes care for her guests. The view from the camping site is extraordinary.

There is no drinking water, a dry toilet and a solarshower. When you can't handle that, don't go.

  • We would stay there all year long!

  • It is difficult to describe this magical moment. The place is wonderful, the view breathtaking. I was sincerely moved by so much beauty.
Thank you Marie-France for your pleasant and attentive welcome, and especially thank you for sharing your little corner of paradise with us.

  • The lady of the house seems to like campers are particularly, because she wants her guests from the Chambres D'Hôtes do not have to see the tents, that you do not use the tap near the house after 9 pm and not before 9 am, because you could disturb the guest house visitors...the beautiful place by the sea has me only partly consoled over the unpleasant athmosphere away... quite lousy karma!

  • An exceptional place with a breathtaking view on the bay of Douarnenez. The welcome by Marie-France is friendly and authentic.

  • We had a great stay in this little corner of paradise... a breathtaking view and grounds! Thank you Marie France for making this available to us!

  • Beautiful property, with large garden (perfect for the dog) and super view! Marie-France welcomed us very friendly and always checked if everything was ok. Thank you very much for the nice stay!

  • A magical place in Brittany.
We even opted for Marie-France's breakfast with a view of the sea.
I highly recommend it for nature lovers.

  • Gorgeous dream property!!! Marie- France is a warm hostess who gave us many great tips for excursions. We enjoyed the stay very much.

  • Beautiful setting!
    Marie-France thought of everything and
    Loulou at the top

  • Beautiful place, welcoming hostess, everything is thought for comfort.

  • Very nice night with a beautiful view on the sea.

  • Exceptional location, very friendly reception, everything is perfect except the price! 12€/pers, it's great for a couple or alone.but for a family, four in our case, 48€ a night, it's too expensive ☹️

  • Thank you very much: incredible spot with a beautiful view and great welcome.

  • A wonderful place to stay.
Very friendly! Me and my kids felt so welcome

  • Marie France is very nice!
Absolutely sublime location, calm and a breathtaking view of the sea.
    it is clearly a 20/10
One of the best spot of home camping that I had the opportunity to see!

  • Good evening Marie-France,
Thank you very much for your welcome. It was a quick visit but I will be back with great pleasure!
    Sincerely yours,
    Edwige

  • Not suitable for backpackers, at least for the price. For 25 euros, you get a pitch for a tent with a view on the sea and that's about it. The only water point (not drinkable) is not accessible from 21:00 to 09:00. The lady specified that she generously offers drinking water at a tap for hikers (and not others), which is right next to where the people in the guesthouse form, and is surprised that there is noise when the hikers leave early in the morning, asking them to get out as soon as possible (literally). There is only one cheap solar shower for the other campers and only one dry toilet with no toilet paper and no trash can. A few kilometers away, you will find municipal campsites at 8 euros and with all the necessary comfort.

  • We spent a pleasant stay with our van at Marie-France's house. A great welcome and a splendid setting to relax after a hike!
Dry toilets and solar shower available.
    Thanks again Marie-France!

  • Once upon a time, Lola, Ana and Wei were walking along the coastal path more commonly called GR34.
The ascents and descents in the rocky landscape that perfectly characterizes this section of the customs path were for our three companions trying, painful but still intoxicating.
They had already been walking happily for a few hours, thinking that in the distance the house disappearing into the mist was their longed-for refuge.
While their morale was waning, their legs were getting heavier, their stomachs were crying out for food, at the bend in a ridge they heard the barking of a canine-like animal.
    What was their surprise!
Their amazed eyes discovered a house with blue shutters, an orchard with a thousand colors, an unobstructed view, a precious guest and a wonderful dog: Loulou.

    END

  • Magnificent spot to pitch the tent. Everything is there, the solar shower, the dry toilets, the view, the very beautiful garden. Marie-France is a hostess with the small care. I highly recommend her.

  • Superb place facing the sea. A dream come true. Thank you for the welcome and the attention.

  • Very pleasant setting. Marie-France is very welcoming and the discussions with her are very pleasant, punctuated by nice culinary exchanges. Special mention to Loulou who introduced me to the rules of pine cone throwing...
    We will come back!

  • Magnificent stay
Marie France's welcome was perfect, we felt like at home with our 3 children.
Very well arranged orchard, breathtaking view.
    We will come back.

  • The time of a sunny break with our truck, we were warmly welcomed by Marie France who allowed us to fully enjoy her beautiful and quiet place, superb view and direct access to hiking trails. A very good moment, rejuvenating.
(the price indicated is not good, it is 25€ the night).

  • Extraordinary view to the sea and just behind the hiking path to the coast. Wind and waves make the slide during the whole stay. Simple facilities, so great price.

  • In kerloulou for the 2nd time, and always so well received by Marie-France. The site is exceptional. What a view!
We can't wait for our next stay!
