Description

No cyclists in (email hidden)A tree fell on the site this winter.
A raw, simple, calm place in the heart of nature. Organic micro-farm in rebirth.
A shaded meadow for cyclists and walkers in summer.
Stable truck parking all year round.

The setting

Organic micro-farm just starting up, meadows, trees, no vines around. Very quiet, isolated, steep slope, country noises (a tractor from time to time, roosters, donkeys...).
The house is being renovated and the site is being reclaimed, so there are a few overgrown wastelands.

The spots

For tents, an area under the acacias is rather flat, with no defined pitch, but several tents can be accommodated without disturbing each other.
Bicycles can go as far as the pitches. Tent sites reserved for cyclists and walkers.
For trucks, a stable, flat parking area near the farm building. Extension cords and water hoses available.

The sanitary facilities

A dry toilet near the camping area. No toilets near the truck parking area.
Light comfort, quite rootsy.
Drinking water available outside near the house. I provide a jerry can to have some water near the tents.
The bathroom in the house is available and can be accessed independently.
It's up to you to be careful with your water consumption.
The shower is cleaned regularly.

The amenities

No electricity at the tents, but you can recharge your cell phone near the house.
For wifi, a connection is possible by approaching the house.
Possibility of finding space in a fridge in the garage, and or cooling blocks for a cool box.
To recharge an electric bike, add 1€.

The activities

On site: the best thing is to do nothing.
If you're really active, you can go for a walk or a bike ride.
There are small local hiking trails that pass close to the farm.
A neighbor has a small market garden, and it's possible to get a few vegetables (check in advance), eggs or bread by the unit, depending on availability.
Nearby: cinema, swimming pool, train station 5km away (35min from Bordeaux), visits to villages, bastides, vineyards, music or show festivals depending on dates.

Other things

Even if the comfort is spartan, I'm always ready to listen and help, depending on your needs.
We can always find a solution with mutual respect.
I have a bit of trouble organizing last-minute requests.

Rules

This farm is a place to live and work, so please respect the place and its inhabitants.
Please let us know your approximate arrival time as soon as possible.
Your children are your responsibility.
Please note: a farm can be a dangerous place for children or the uninitiated.
Dogs are welcome as long as they are supervised, do not relieve themselves in public areas and do not attack my chickens.
It's a natural place, so there are insects, animals, thunderstorms sometimes...
Strict waste sorting - Be careful with fire (cigarette butts) - No barbecues or campfires.

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€4 / person)

Hot beverage, slices of homemade cake or bread and jam (also homemade), according to inspiration. Apple juice for 4 people or more. Most ingredients organic. Breakfast can be ready early for those who want to set off fresh. Meals are brought to the tents.
