Description

Located on the magnificent Laqueuille plateaux at an altitude of 1000 meters, this 2-hectare area is bursting with greenery and offers spectacular sunsets every evening. Enjoy superb walks starting from the house, with trails winding through picturesque landscapes. Children and adults alike will be enchanted by the small menagerie housing chickens, goats, sheep... a true invitation to discover life on the farm. Come and immerse yourself in this oasis of nature, where you can recharge your batteries and relax in complete tranquillity.

The setting

We are happy to welcome your pets, if they do not eat the chickens and are sociable.

The spots

You can set up in the shade of the ash trees not far from the spring, or under the old beech tree, on flat ground.

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets, washbasin and solar shower

The amenities

Electrical appliances can be recharged, extension cords plugged in and laundry done.
As the house is an old farmhouse, our horse-riding friends will find plenty of room to store their equipment and horses, just like our motorcycling friends!

The activities

From the house, departure point for many hikes (foot, bike, horse), we are 10 min from La Bourboule (its thermal baths, swimming pool, cinema...).
20 min from Le Mont Dore (ski slopes, climbing, hiking, casino...) and 35 min from Clermont Ferrand.
A small grocery store has just opened in the village, 1.5km away, making it an ideal place for a stroll.

Other things

Our animal friends are accepted if they don't eat the chickens and are sociable.
Fresh eggs for sale.

Rules

Respect for nature: no garbage lying around, fires allowed in appropriate places, smokers are asked to pick up their cigarette butts, and dogs must be kept on a lead if they are not sociable (children and hens are allowed on the grounds).

  • We stopped over just for the night. We arrived in the evening and were split up in the morning. The place is just magnificent. The animals are adorable, especially the baby goats that our 4 year old daughter loved.
We recommend it. Ideal for van life.

  • Super field with good soft grass, very good for camping with a long view all around I like.

    Toilets very good

Merci bien ca nous a fait du bien :)

  • Beautiful grounds, very well located for hiking without the need to take the car. The presence of animals is nice. Unfortunately we didn't get to know Jeremy, but communication beforehand was impeccable and he was always available for questions.

  • An idyllic vacation setting!
Our children were delighted with the little farm and the sweetness of the dog.
Our host was discreet and friendly.
It was the middle of nowhere for 3 nights, not far from the sites of the Auvergne volcanoes.

  • Excellent welcome from Jérémy, who makes sure everything goes smoothly and gives good hiking tips. Dry toilets, solar shower, water and electric hook-up at no extra charge. A great place to relax in peace and quiet.

  • We stayed at Jérémy's for one night and ended up staying for 5 days because we liked the setting so much. Lots of space for our dog to play, so much peace and quiet, not to mention the friendliness of Jérémy and his family. We feel privileged to have been able to stay a few days in such good conditions.
    (Thanks again)
If you're looking for space and calm, don't hesitate for a second, you've come to the right place.

  • Very good stay. Well placed for a hike. Just the shower, which I already know is being improved ????
    I will return without hesitation.

  • Superb meeting, a magical place, simple, in connection with nature and the volcanoes of Auvergne.

Jeremy is great too, very welcoming, available and smiling.

Everything is clean and the setting is idyllic!

  • Thanks to Jérémy for his warm welcome despite our late booking! The grounds are superb, and the chickens came to greet us early in the morning before we left :). I recommend this beautiful place, the sunset is worth a look :)

  • Large area near a farmhouse. Goats , chickens and horses as neighbors. Everything is good and uncomplicated. In contact with the host, except at check-in, you do not come.

  • We know when we arrive, but when we leave.... I'll let you discover
Big hugs to Roxy who was sad when we left and so were we

  • Nothing to say perfect, we understand why super Camp, thank you Jeremy we will return without a doubt.we recommend, very good address.

  • Very large plot, very good welcome, but I think it's a shame that there isn't more exchange with the host.

  • The setting is idyllic and the host is very attentive, thank you Jérémy for helping me do the Puy de Sancy! :)

  • Disappointed
Superb location but lots of campers and poor organization.
The campers place themselves as they wish and as a result we had a van set up next to ours.

  • A relaxing place, combining nature and animals. Super stay in all simplicity ????

  • I spent 2 weeks at Jérémy's place, a magnificent setting for camping!
Jérémy is very welcoming and gives very good advice in terms of sightseeing and hiking.
A superb place if you want to be in peace and quiet!

  • It's a beautiful, quiet place. Jérémy is a very welcoming host who listens to his campers.
I must admit that the weather was not at all good, with lots of rain and wind. But we had a great time. In fact, what more could you ask for than the sun to heat the shower, but Jérémy, always attentive, made hot water available to us. Thank you very much, this stay has completely cleared our heads... see you soon perhaps.

  • Very nice plot with a beautiful view! This is the 2nd time we've been to Jeremy's place and the welcome is always top notch. The kids loved going to see the animals. Calm stay guaranteed

  • What a wonderful place! Thank you so much for your warm welcome, Jéremy, and for your simple words every day. You take good care of your Homecampers! (thanks for the loan of the tent too!). I spent a wonderful week there with my children, aged 4 and 6, who loved playing outdoors with Roxy, the adorable dog of the house, jumping on the trampoline, seeing the chickens, cows, the billy goat...
    We enjoyed a magnificent sunset.
Thanks again, we'll be back with pleasure!

  • Very good stay at Jérémy's, very natural terrain but with all the necessary amenities. The environment is ideal and perfect for starting a hike.

  • Great stay with Jérémy who is very friendly and available. The setting is very calm, the air is very good .
There are plenty of pitches to choose from. The WC and solar shower do the job well. I'd recommend it.
