Our animal friends are accepted if they do not eat the chickens and are sociable.

The setting

2 hectares of greenery at an altitude of 1000 meters on the plateaus of Laqueuille with sumptuous sunsets every evening, hikes starting from the house, a small menagerie that will delight children and adults (chickens, goats, pigs, rabbits...).

The spots

Possibility to settle down in the shade of ash trees not far from the spring, flat ground.

The amenities

There is 4G (even at the top of the mountains), possibility to recharge electrical appliances, to plug in an extension cord and even to do a laundry.
The house being an old farm, our horsemen friends will find room to store their equipment and horses, just like our biker friends!

The activities

From the house departure of many hikes (feet, bike, horse), we are 10 min from La Bourboule (its thermal baths, its swimming pool, its cinema...).
20 min from Mont Dore (its ski slopes, its climbing spots, its hikes, its casino,...) and 35 min from Clermont Ferrand.
A small grocery store has just opened its doors in the village at 1,5km, the occasion of a stroll.

Other things

Our animal friends are accepted if they do not eat the chickens and are sociable.

Respect for nature: no littering, no fires, smokers are asked to pick up their cigarette butts, and dogs must be kept on a leash if they are not sociable (children and chickens are free on the grounds).

Land & setting
  • Beautiful place and Jeremy's welcome is always top notch! Thank you

  • Always at the top.
Quiet, safe and well thought out place.
Night in family (2 children) drastically appreciated!

  • Location next to many spots to visit in Auvergne. Large field with a view on the countryside.
Be careful, it's a field, we arrived in the rain and almost got stuck with our van. There are some shady spots.
We did not test the sanitary facilities nor the children's games (cold & rain), nor the solar showers (even colder!). Jeremy is responsive in communication - unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to meet him.
In the village of Laqueuille, grey/black water station, garbage cans and free water refill for our van.

  • We stayed two starry nights. Beautiful spot with a breathtaking panoramic view. Complete calm on a beautiful, huge, flat meadow. The choice to settle down. And to foresee a very long extension to be able to have even more the choice of the site because the meadow is immense and fenced for safety.
Very nice welcome. Jeremy is a nature and animal lover. He introduced us to his two dogs, his chickens, his peacocks, his goat, his pig and I think his cat. All this little world gambles around the house. They are calm and relaxed which adds a touch of zenitude.
Go ahead, it would be a shame to hesitate. For me it's the Home Camper and Camping nº1. We will go back in the spring because this site is very well located for hiking and tourism. Grocery recommended by Jeremy at three kilometers top with good local cheeses produced at the farm. Bakery, Post office...
In short we loved it ...

  • Very nice and helpful.
    And a great location. Great!

  • Excellent service in the heart of a farm. The mini host brings the children to the discovery of the farm...that adds a friendly note to this stay.

  • Thank you to Jérémy who received us very well in his farm located at 1000 m of altitude in a very green and restful setting, a stop on the grass with a magnificent view, interesting for us in a stage-course because 8 km from the freeway, I recommend, and to be done again during a passage in the region, Alain

  • We spent a very good time on the side of the Puy de Sancy, Jérémy kindly welcomed us.

  • We had a great stay!
Jeremy is very welcoming and very responsive to messages. The view is beautiful, especially for the sunset!
All the animals are very nice, especially the dogs Pablo and Roxy, they just want to be cuddled!
You can go there with my eyes closed!

Ps : bring a very long extension cord for the electricity

  • Very good welcome from Jeremy. We stayed 2 nights. We enjoyed the place. Dry toilets and solar shower.

  • We had a great stay! The terrain is ideal for camping in the middle of nature. The cool, starry nights gave way to a beautiful morning view of the surroundings!

  • Idyllic setting, super welcoming family.
A good spot to enjoy and relax.
    Do not hesitate!!!

  • A great post to discover the region...Our stay was too short but I will come back with friends to do some great hiking. We were spoilt for choice to settle down in this spacious and peaceful place which will remain a very nice memory...See you another time Jérémy ! Have a nice stay!

  • We were well received by Jeremy. The setting is beautiful and vast. Our boys were happy to see all the animals and to be able to play with a buddy. The departure for them was complicated because they wanted to stay ☺️

  • Warm welcome, total immersion with the animals of the farm. Beautiful sunset, we recommend this place

  • I was very well received by Jeremy, he advised me of good hikes in the area. The land is big and nice, there are lots of animals, I met other campers very nice too. I would be happy to come back there again sometime!

  • Very good welcome from Jeremy and very pleasant stay in this beautiful setting in Auvergne. Thank you Jérémy.

  • Very pleasant stay, we were lucky the good weather was with us!
Beautiful region, a must see :-)

  • A real little corner of paradise for our family, young and old. The place is magical when the weather is good, the landscape is beautiful, the animals are very friendly like Jeremy their owner. The hikes and activities in the area are very nice. Too bad for us that the weather was not always good... but we had a great stay !

  • Superb setting at the foot of the hiking trails, and a warm welcome. I had an excellent stay, thank you very much! :)

  • We came with 2 families to this beautiful place with a great view. Jeremy was not there the first day but left us a barbecue, a table and games for children: luxury! and he came very kindly to talk to us on his arrival! A little too cold for the solar showers but the dry toilets were appreciated! A big thank you and I recommend ++.

  • We were very well received on a very nice plot of land with a beautiful view. Nice experience for the children with the animals of the house!

  • Great location! there are many things to do in a close environment. The setting is soothing and very beautiful. The animals that gambol about is very nice for the children!
I regret the lack of basin to do the dishes and the shower stuck to the toilet.
I recommend it because it is really a great site! The village is really pleasant with grocery store, bakery.
    Very nice welcome from Jeremy!

  • Very good welcome and very nice and quiet land in the countryside with farm animals. We appreciated the possibilities of walking and hiking nearby without using the vehicle. And close enough to the essential visits. We recommend this home camper.

  • We had a great stay at Jeremy's place.
The place is quiet and with a beautiful sunset!
Jeremy was welcoming and full of good advice.

We recommend this place without hesitation.

  • Very pleasant, calm, restful setting, several campers but lots of space on Jeremy's land. Great exchange with Jeremy who cares about his campers.
Rainy week but that's also the charm of this region!
The kids loved the place, the animals in freedom and the contact with Jeremy's children!
    Go there it's great!
We could not test the solar shower because the weather did not allow it but we found other solutions.

  • Perfect

  • Excellent stay! Thank you Jeremy for the very nice welcome! We really appreciated your large ground, the superb view (even better with the arrival of the sun in the second part of the stay), the advices on the walks in the area, the exchanges with the other campers, the daily life with hens, pig, dogs and others. We will come back with closed eyes the next time we come in Auvergne, it's for sure!

  • Very nice setting, space between campers, easy and pleasant communication with Jeremy. A few points of improvement planned by Jeremy: a nicer shower and a washbasin.

  • a very restful night in a camper!
thanks to Jérémy for his welcome,
the experience of dry toilets and solar shower at (7am) nice !
bucolic setting with animals in freedom
    magnificent landscape !

  • A large field, where each one has its space..a clear view which allows to take advantage of splendid sunsets. Departures of hike all levels and a host with the small care...we retain preciously this address. Thank you jeremy.

  • A wonderful stay, magical.
    A kind host, listening, smiling.
    A magnificent setting
Really we spent a moment of freedom
    Thank you Jérémy

  • Nice stay on a top place with a great setting. Too bad the weather wasn't there!

  • Very nice place, warm welcome, smooth communication, good experience!
There is a large space that allows you to keep your privacy from the neighbors
    Thanks for the welcome :)

  • 2nd stay at Jeremy's.
And always a great welcome !!!
With the small care and concerned that all occurs well.
My daughter spent her week playing with the children of the family.
    We will come back :-)

  • Very good stay with Jeremy and his family. Great encounters, impeccable service always attentive to our needs, a breathtaking panorama and an extremely well located place to go hiking. I recommend it! See you soon.

  • Super stay of one night at Jérémy's place. A welcoming and caring host, his property is really nice and quiet. I recommend without hesitation!

  • Despite a rainy stay we had a great time at Jeremy's who is a lovely host. The place is beautiful and there is plenty of room. Go there with your eyes closed

  • Superb place! Very responsive host, welcoming, available and full of good advice on the area which is beautiful. We recommend +++.

  • Jeremy's land is large and the view is nice. Nice welcome. The weather did not allow us to visit the surroundings, but we will come back!
    Isabelle and Georges

  • Many positive points but the lack of comfort and the bad weather will have made us leave one day earlier.
The ground is very pleasant! Lots of campers, and everyone can still be "quiet". The children bond naturally and can play safely with each other, and with the animals in the menagerie it's great! Unfortunately, we left a day earlier than planned, as the weather did not make for a nice vacation. And the comfort on the spot being too random. A few remarks submitted to Jeremy, which are probably related to the too much frequentation of the place + the lack of guidelines given to the campers:
-the only drinking water point is a plastic hose, too often put anywhere by the campers (on the ground in the grass, on the cement slab where the chickens come to poop...)
-no real information about access to electricity
-the dry toilets are comfortable in themselves but they were overflowing, without sawdust or toilet paper from the beginning of the afternoon because they were not very deep
-the shower area was not very attractive (cement slab with green moss, open air, and difficult to hang the solar shower, not to mention the holes in the boards adjoining the toilet
    - no hot water other than the solar showers, and in rainy weather...
However, I appreciated the calm, the kindness of the hosts and the good communication, the "proximity" with the key places of the region.

  • Excellent point of view
Too bad for the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, certainly in connection with the people on the plot
    Excellent contact though

  • I stayed only one night and the weather was rainy, but otherwise everything went well. Moreover Jeremy advised me a stroll in the vicinity which I liked with its waterfall.

  • The show is at the rendezvous: between the calm, the magnificent view, the space of the ground, and the sympathetic reception.

  • Great! Jeremy's welcome and advice, the available space, the farm with the animals, the dry toilets, everything was perfect, we recommend it!

  • We only spent one night on the field, it rained... But we enjoyed the fresh air. The place is very beautiful, there is a lot of space on flat ground. Thanks to Jeremy for his welcome despite our late arrival, we will come back!

  • We have very good memories of our stay with Jeremy. Very nice welcome, good advice for excursions, it was perfect. Thank you very much!

  • Good welcome ...clean land with a clear view ...we will come back with pleasure if the opportunity there is .

  • Super site a large field facing the chain of volcanoes. The animals in freedom it is top
We spent a very good stay in spite of an autumnal weather

  • Pleasant stay. The setting is magnificent! Laqueuille is the ideal place to visit the surroundings. Stay surrounded by the animals of the house. The children loved it and had the pleasure of making friends. The fact that the site can accommodate several campers gives the children more chance to meet other children. Thank you Jeremy!
