Description

As campers in search of peace and quiet, we're happy to share a piece of our garden with you, so that you can enjoy the forest and surrounding villages for hiking, cycling, climbing or just relaxing!
We'll be happy to advise you on ideas for walking or cycling itineraries.

Loop hikes: we offer two 2-day loop hikes (GPX tracks on request ;-) ):
- 1 if you're coming by car, starting from Arbonne, and spending the night with us;
- 1 if you come by train (Gare de Fontainebleau/Gare de Bourron-Marlotte), spending the night with us.

The setting

Our house is located in a small dead-end street with 7 houses.
The plot overlooks cultivated fields to the rear (we have neighbors to the right and left).
We are in a relatively quiet environment (the freeway can sometimes be heard, depending on weather conditions).

The spots

The space we reserve for you would be in our garden, close to the field.
There is no fence separating your tent from our house.
The terrain is flat (we ask you not to bring your vehicle).

The sanitary facilities

We'll give you access to the guest bedroom's washbasin and shower (outside access possible).
For the toilet, you'll have access to a dry toilet, located under a protected high-wind area on one side of the house.
Drinking water (hot for washing up) is independently accessible via the house's ancillary rooms (laundry/garage).
You can also use our washing machine, but we don't have a tumble dryer.

The amenities

You can use the sockets in the guest room, or we can run an extension cord to provide you with electricity.
You should also receive Wi-Fi from our Internet boxes.
We can provide camping equipment (tables, chairs, solar lamp), and a home-made brazier to keep you warm ;-)
You can use the ping-pong table, as well as the outdoor games (Mölkky, Kubb, Détanque).
Last but not least, we love board games and have a toy library of almost 200! We can lend you some if you're interested ;-)

The activities

We'll be happy to advise you, or suggest hiking or cycling routes.
Climbing (several sites within easy reach, by bike or car, 10' walk), cycling (road & mountain bike), hiking, horse riding (2 clubs in the village).
In Ury (5'), a sports field with basketball court, tennis court, soccer pitch, children's playground.

  • Had a fantastic time! They were incredibly welcoming and helpful for the entire duration of our stay. Look forward to coming again next time I'm in Font :)

  • We were welcomed like kings by Julien, a person who restores faith in humanity. His hospitality is rare and he's very helpful. Many thanks! We'll be back!

  • Great stay with Fanny and Julien, who live in a magnificent property in the heart of the magnificent Fontainebleau forest. They give great advice and have everything you need to make you feel like royalty!

  • We had a wonderful time in every way!
Fan and Ju's garden, the bathroom, the dry toilets, everything is very clean and well laid out. We appreciated the welcome shade, and the cancoon in the tree. Fan and Ju were invaluable in helping us choose hikes and with everyday problems. Delicious breakfast, a real delight!

  • I had a great time at Fanny and Julien's, who in addition to their warm welcome concocted a great hike for the next day (top the rocks of Recloses!).

  • A nice meeting, which gave a superb evening to talk about travel and cycling! The place is very nice, in the heart of a nice stone village. Fanny and Julien arranged everything for a perfect welcome of the campers. The numerous games delighted our children.

  • Again a big thank you to Fanny and Julien for their warm welcome and their advice on the area! We spent a great weekend, between the hike of the 25 bumps and the visit of the village (a kiss for Raph and the musicians of La Graine de Café). To make!
