Visit the Bourbonnais in the Allier, the Creuse and the Puy de Dôme.
Close to the Etang de Sault ( summer will be great for children ).
Numerous hikes starting from the house, possibility of renting electric bikes from the commune, 1h from the forest of Tronçais which is famous and where activities are possible on reservation, the canal of Berry where you can make a pretty ballade, Vichy 1h15 Saint Pourçain and its vineyards is worth the blow of eye at 1h!
One of France's most beautiful villages: Hérisson, and make a detour to Bourbon l'Archambaut.
Le pal (zoo and amusement park) 1h
Visit the yellow stones 30min away in the Creuse, the wolves of Chabrière or, for the kids, the giant labyrinth with lots of activities around it.
For the Puy de Dôme, Clermont Ferrand is 1h15 away.
In Montluçon, a 10-minute drive away, you'll find mupop, Château des Ducs de Bourbon, the old town with its medieval buildings, bowling, cinema and restaurants. Etc
