Description

The setting

There are NO facilities.
The land is about 60% wooded (some of the only old growth forest left in Brunswick County) and 40% open fields, with only a couple acres under cultivation.

The spots

Large campers or motorhomes would need to be parked in an open field as it would be difficult to navigate them into the wooded property.
Tent campers could pitch a tent anywhere on the property.

The sanitary facilities

There are no facilities on the property, other than an old, small dairy milking barn where you could store bicycles.
So you need a self contained rig or be comfortable going in nature.
PLEASE do NOT dump your black water tanks on the open ground.
It is fine to empty your grey water tanks.

The amenities

No amenities, just a place to stay that is not too far from the beach when other campgrounds on Oak Island are full.

The activities

You need to entertain yourself.

Rules

Please do NOT damage or chop wood!
There are beautiful trees on my property.
Please enjoy their beauty and shade, but don't chop down trees, cut branches or risk forest fires.
