Description

Whatever you want to know, don't hesitate to ask us, we will answer you as quickly and accurately as possible.

The setting

In a locality sheltered from busy roads, the setting on the land is quiet and we hear little noise from cars and not at all from the wind turbines near our village.
We are only 2/3 minutes by car (or a few minutes by bike) from Gençay, a very lively village where you can find all the usual amenities.
Many walks can also be made around our house and the surrounding villages.
Finally, the Belle Park and the Valley of the Monkeys are not far away!

The spots

Flat land with many facets: a shady park, a meadow intended to welcome sheep in the near future, hutches that we are currently transforming into a chicken coop, an orchard and many possibilities for your stay!

The sanitary facilities

For the moment, the shower and toilets are inside our house, accessible directly from the outside. You will, of course, have free access to them.
In the future, we would like to set up dry toilets, as well as independent solar showers. Project in progress...

The amenities

-We have a wifi connection but I don't think it covers the property.
You can still access it if you want, staying close to the house.
- You can plug in your appliances in the bathroom, (if you need them) and under the lean-to attached to the house.
- You can use our washing machine and hang your laundry in the garden or under the lean-to.

The activities

Many activities are proposed in our region, between castles, thrills, activities for children, do not hesitate to ask us!

Numerous possibilities of hikes in the surroundings of our place.

Water activities in Vivonne : Canoeing, swimming pool, water jump

Rules

1°) Our dog has free access to the garden in our presence. He is not mean but can be too affectionate. Do not hesitate to warn us if his presence disturbs you but thank you not to frighten or hurt him!
2°) Cleanliness and respect of the environment. Smokers are allowed but ashtrays will be put at your disposal, thank you for using them. We will also ask you to throw away your waste in the garbage can.
3°) Animals are allowed provided that you are able to control them.

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€5 / person)

Depending on reservations and availability, we can offer fresh organic bread (Gençay bakery), butter, jam (homemade with fruit from the orchard), hot drinks (coffee, tea, herbal tea, milk...), fruit or quality fruit juice.
As far as possible, as local as possible!

Tent ready

We have a small two-seater tent, as well as a large one with a sheltered hall and three 2-seater rooms each.
We can lend them to you but we will ask you to return them in the same condition as when you arrived.

We also have an old caravan sheltered under a shed.
The roof is not waterproof and that's why it stays in the shelter.
It is not connected to water or electricity but it can perfectly accommodate three people for sleeping.

We are also very well equipped with camping equipment, don't hesitate to ask us!
