Welcome to Fraserburgh in Scotland !
We are happy to welcome you in our beautiful country !
The setting
The fields are a few acres, sheltered by our mature woodland but still a sunny spot.
It can be a bit breezy at times but this seems to keep the notorious midge at bay!
Far away from the bright lights but also accessible by car and can get buses locally to the bigger places if you want other activities than retreating, hiking and wildlife watching but it is of benefit to have a car !
Then you can visit the lovely wee fishing villages and cliffside beaches that this area of the world is well known for.
Also a shop in local village but if need more amenities can get bus further afield etc.
the peatmoss has been left to nature mostly but there is some arable farming near by too are nearest neighbours are a farmer and a couple who run a vegan cafe and collect double decker-buses and robin reliants - has to be seen to be believed!
The spots
The ground in the fields is due to get rolled this year so will be flat before guests arrival and also the grass is let to go slightly longer than usual so should be comfy too!
You can park within field but opening not that large so no campers please.
Should guests choose to stay within the woodland this can be arranged too.
The sanitary facilities
At the moment loos etc are available in our dwelling places.
However we should have some compost loos by the time the sight is up and running. You can also get access to cold water however no showers.
We intend to keep it a fairly wild experience!
The amenities
No internet im afraid unless you visit the cafe next door which is free!
You will be camping in relative no mans land!
We can provide some things (stove, toilet paper, even some fresh eggs and vegetables from the garden! etc).
Just ask and we may have it !.
We don't provide electricity so somethings we cant provide.
The activities
Most things you will have to travel for however if your into bird watching, walking, bushcraft, foraging or just relaxing under a nice tree then you dont have to go anywhere. Out with the sight there is all this and more of course not too far away.
