Description

Summer festivals are held in nearby villages, and a local market is held every Friday in Neuvéglise-sur-Truyère.

The setting

Quiet village, despite its proximity to the road, close to Saint-Flour and Chaudes-Aigues (15 km) where you can visit the hot spring (82°) and 80 km from Aurillac.

The spots

Very easy access, and fairly flat terrain, but no marked-out area, I can also accommodate cyclists.

The sanitary facilities

The sanitary facilities are upstairs in my house, a shower room with toilet. Outside, a solar shower and soon a washbasin.

The amenities

Electricity, for camper vans the electric socket is in my veranda. I can provide an extension cord.

The activities

The Cantal is an ideal place for hiking, (on foot, by bike...), 23 km away (20mn by car) is the Col de Prat de Bouc, where the GR4, GR400 starts. Once on the Cantal lead, you can descend either on foot or by cable car, which arrives at the Lioran resort, but you can also continue on the crests to admire the panorama overlooking the puys du Cantal, and the Puy de Sancy. Puy Mary is 60 km away. You can also swim at the Lanau open-air pool (10 km), open from July 1 to August 30, or at the Laussac peninsula in Aveyron (30km), or the Mallet beach (31km). To reach this site, you'll have to pass through the Grandval dam, which is sure to remind you of the film "La grande vadrouille" with Louis de Funès and Bourvil, which was shot here.
Accrobranche at Ruynes en Margeride or at the Lioran resort.
Chemin de compostelle, departure from Nasbinal (Lozère)
Canöé at Lanau
