Description

Festivals are organized in the nearby villages during the summer and a local market is held every Friday in Neuvéglise-sur-Truyère.

The setting

quiet village, which despite the proximity to the road is calm, close to Saint-Flour and Chaudes-Aigues (15 km) where you can visit the hot spring (82°) and 80 km from Aurillac.

The spots

very easy access, and fairly flat terrain, but no marked out area, I can also accommodate cyclists

The sanitary facilities

The sanitary facilities are on the floor, shower room with toilet. And outside a solar shower and soon a sink

The amenities

Electricity, for the motorhome the electric plug is in my veranda. I can provide an extension cord.

The activities

The Cantal is an ideal place for hiking, (on foot, bicycle...), at 23 km (20mn by car) is the pass of Prat de bouc, where starts the GR4, GR400, arrived on the lead of the Cantal, you can go back down either on foot or by the cable car, which arrives at the station of Lioran, but you can also continue on the crests in order to admire the panorama which gives on the puys of the Cantal, and the puy of Sancy. You also have the Puy Mary, which is 60 km away. You also have the possibility to swim either at the swimming pool of Lanau (10 km), open from July 1st to August 30th, or at the peninsula of Laussac in Aveyron (30km), or the beach of Mallet (31km) to reach this site, you will pass by the dam of Grandval, which will certainly remind you of the movie "la grande vadrouille" with Louis de Funès and Bourvil, which was filmed at this place.
Accrobranche in Ruynes en margeride or in the resort of Lioran.
Chemin de compostelle, departure from Nasbinal (Lozère)
