  • Monique gave me a very warm welcome despite my late booking and made sure I had everything I needed. We chatted over a slice of pie and I thank her for this moment.

  • A great experience at Monique and Frank's! My hosts were very welcoming and accommodating, and a source of many fascinating anecdotes about the region and their property: an old terraced quarry with an authentic lime kiln that they do their utmost to preserve, and rightly so: the setting is magnificent, the garden facing the Seine is well tended, and the meal was succulent. The place is easy to get to, just across the river from a Seine ferry. I highly recommend it!

  • We were made very welcome by Monique and her friend Franck. Free choice of tent pitch, shower room available. The location right next to the ferry to cross the Seine is ideal!

  • Beautiful view from Monique's terraced garden. The place is truly original. The welcome is warm, simple and friendly. Monique is attentive to the comfort of her campers! The spectacle of the Seine, the boats... we had a great time as a family!

  • Charming hosts, stunning setting! A lovely evening on a loop of the Seine!

  • The campsite was great! There weren't many other people so it was quiet. Monique is very kind and helpful! We loved the little rolls while washing up. Thank you, Monique and Frank!

  • One of the most beautiful campsites I've ever been to. The camping spots and riverview are stunning and we almost cancelled all our return travel just to stay longer. I would absolutely recommend.

  • We stopped off at Monique's to spend the night before heading back to the south of France. We had a nice hot shower. We spent a quiet night and, awakened early by the crowing of the rooster and the engine of the barge, we set off again with a well-rested mind.

  • The garden is incredible, we loved this stop on our bike trip. Monique and her friend are very friendly. We were able to chat with them at length about the history of the garden and the surrounding area over breakfast, which was very pleasant.

  • First experience with HomeCamper, and I was overwhelmed: the welcome, the availability of the owners, the atypical space of the garden, the view from the upper restanque where I pitched my tent, the meeting with an absolutely charming Italian couple and even the weather, which was kind enough to take a dry break in this memorable month of August!
Thanks also to Monique for the long chat!

  • We had a great time in Monique's beautiful garden! A magnificent view over the Seine, a very spacious, beautiful and green location, and Monique is very nice and kind. To be recommended :) Thanks Monique!

  • Friendly host
    Magnificent view
Pitch a little small if crowded
    Shower cabin (tent) not usable
    Dry toilet far too small
Please note: to get access to the beautiful view, you need to climb, so be in good physical shape and travel light.

  • An ideal place to stay with very friendly hosts! You have to climb a bit in the garden, but the view is worth it.

  • super friendly hosts in an incredible location. Monique's garden is exceptional. Special memories.

    we'll be back!

  • Very welcome
    Very good stay.
A few small improvements for the future would be welcome.
A solar shower cubicle with a bag holder at the dry toilet so that you can take a real shower without being seen, and a slightly larger toilet tent would be ideal.
Otherwise nothing to say Monique is super nice and accommodating. Can't wait to go back.

  • The site is very pleasant and so are the people. Just the shower and the dry toilets need a bit of work. The shower has no support to put the water bag up high and the toilets lack space and cleaning. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

  • Great welcome and great location! A great meeting!

  • Breathtaking panorama.
Free pitch, from small to large ⛺.
Ideally located on the banks of the Seine.
Monique is extra, helpful, kind and funny.
A tiny downside for the ferry, from 6:10 to 21:10. But you get used to it, and it's very practical for getting back to Jumièges or Rouen.
    Many thanks

  • We spent a very nice evening with Monique and Franck, on a very nice site!

  • From the campingground you get a very nice view of the garden, the river and Jumiéges on the other side of the Seine. The host is very kind and helpful and we would love to go back again.

  • A very nice and quiet place

  • Very nice location to stay. We had a spacious site with a beautiful view of the Seine. Do keep in mind that you have to climb a bit with all your camping equipment. Monique and Frank are very warm and welcoming guests.
In the area it is nice to cycle along the Seine.

Monique et Frank, c'était un plaisir de vous rencontrer! Merci pour tout!

  • It was a great place and very welcoming people! Thank you very much

  • Monique’s garden is a very unique place. We had a beautiful view at the Seine. Monique and Frank are very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this location.

  • Super nice! It was a great stay in unique environment.

  • We stopped here for one night. The welcome is very attentive, the setting quiet and atypical and the view from the pitches magnificent. We took the ferry the next morning to cross the Seine and walk in Jumieges, it was very nice :)

  • Staying here was a great pleasure. Monique is a genuinely interested and pleasant host and as we were able to find out, great cook.
Very nice place and commodities. Camping with a view and great for everyone who wants to be away of it all.
    Thanks Monique it was great...

  • A place crowned by a great host!
I was very tired from my day of walking along the Seine (route des chaumières/route des fruits). I was perfectly welcomed which allowed me to visit Jumièges in the evening (attention the visits of the abbey close at 17.30) and to rest well to continue my journey the next day.

  • Very pleasant stay! Monique is a wonderful host and a beautiful person who sublimates by her historical knowledge the magnificent setting of these old abbey lands, with a very nice view on the Seine and the abbey of Jumièges!
Franck, who lives in the house next door, is also very welcoming and friendly.

  • During our bike trip, we stopped at Monique's house. She gave us a little course in local history, and showed us her land and its history. The view is superb. My wife and I had a great time. It's very nice to have dinner with a view of the meander of the Seine. And we were able to go and see the abbey of Jumièges which is not far.

  • Good pitch, friendly people. Sanitary facilities are private and usable, medium hygiene. Nice to walk around the area, beautiful wooded area with a meandering Seine, where colossal ships sail over.

  • Location was beautiful.
