A very warm welcome to Ludwig and Maud, my children and I really enjoyed the setting and the animals, thank you for your hospitality.

A very pleasant stay with Maud and Ludwig, surrounded by all their animal friends. Maud and Ludwig are very kind and gave us a warm welcome. Many thanks to them both.

Maud and Ludwig's place is a little corner of magic, they showed us around and we were very well received!
I was even tempted by a great energy treatment with Maud! I highly recommend it: Maud is a caring and attentive listener. -

Wonderful sanctuary with many hidden places to pitch your tent. Mand and Ludwig are, although very busy with their animals, very helpful and friendly.

Super Experience with Maud and Ludwig (and Lilou and Louis)
I recommend it if you want to be DE-CO-NECTED!
And if you love animals :)
Thank you for your warm welcome. -

We spent three nights at this remarkable location. The kids loved camping so close to so many different animals (and, to be honest, so did we). We had a lot of space and privacy and were able to pitch our tent in a nice shady area. Ludwig, Maud, and their children are excellent hosts, who made great efforts to show us around. All in all, it was a great experience!

A first experience for me in HomeCamper and I had the chance to put my tent at Maud and Ludwig's and their children, Lilou and Louis. Wonderful family, welcoming, open and generous, who allowed us to live with my granddaughter (7 years old) a time out of time among the animals of the refuge. The place is really magical and to fully enjoy it, you must have kept a part of your child's soul without looking for comfort (no shower). For us, the 4 nights there were perfect. Thanks to Maud and Ludwig, and also to Lilou for her unfailing availability and the sharing of her knowledge of the animals, and to Louis for his initiation to the art of roasted marshmallows!

If you like nature, campfires, little animals running around your tent then this place is for you.
Charming welcome from Maud and Ludwig. Very friendly. Educational farm to know the life of the animals of this refuge. Only one point to improve it is a space shower to create.
To recommend... -

Superb farm, ideal for tent campers, less pleasant parking for vans

Maud and Ludwig are very welcoming. They love to chat and share their passion for animals and wool weaving. The pitches are separated from each other by other enclosures.
Located in the middle of nature we slept well in the quiet and dark.
Great experience :)
The only thing missing is the presence of a small shower -

Our comment will only confirm the opinion of other homecampers.
As soon as you enter the gate, it's an atypical place that awaits you, a haven of peace that you don't want to leave.
Aude & Ludwig knew how to make this place welcoming and warm as well for us homecampers as for the numerous animals present.
An amazing place, interesting but simple, a return to the roots.
This place allows you to find peace and quiet but also if you wish to talk with Aude & Ludwig who are passionate and fascinating.
We will not forget this moment shared around the campfire. -

Great reception despite our late request.
Thanks for the help with the compressor ????
Very nice little evening by the fire with the hosts.
A superb place, surrounded by animals, a real little paradise for young children.
Do not hesitate to spend a pleasant moment. -

Beautiful setting in the nature with lots of animals, warm welcome.
(for information, only drawbacks: the door of the toilet-sink does not close and the room is not lit, no access to power outlets) -

We loved to stay at Ludwig & Maud their place! Nice, friendly people and an experience to never forget.

We had a wonderful stay with Ludwig and Maud. We camped with our two sons at the back of the garden. The animals are a nice added value, you are woken up by the peacocks and the roosters, the children were allowed to give the deer a bottle. We also ordered a breakfast which was prepared with love by hostess Maud. Although we stayed in their garden we still had the feeling of privacy. At 20 min. From Wimereux and Cap gris Nez. We will definitely come back....

"If you are looking for an atypical place, this is the place to go. Everything is perfect for a complete change of scenery. You will be delighted to meet the owners Maud and Ludwig who will know how to exchange warmly with you around the animals while being discrete during your stay. The breakfast service is top! And what a chance to give the bottle to the little deer fawn ???? and to meet people of heart totally involved in the rescue of animals

This animal shelter is an absolutely great place to camp with kids! It's like sleeping in a little zoo... Very nice family. Located at about 30 minutes drive from Boulogne-sur-Mer, it is also a good place to visit Nausicaá in the same time. The possibility to ride the marsh bike route in a go-kart (rented on site) is a plus that my children appreciated. The absence of a shower is the only small drawback if you stay several nights. You should also bring walking shoes or boots as the terrain is marshy, especially if it has rained the previous days.

A great time, a great meeting!
A very nice place to recharge your batteries, Maud and Ludwig are adorable!
Thank you a thousand times ???? -

For my first Home Camper experience, I was spoiled: a friendly welcome by a family with an enriching background in a place that provokes a unique experience. As soon as we enter Ludwig and Maud's property, we find ourselves immersed in a world of its own, dedicated to animals of all species in a surrounding vegetation. In short, if you don't like animals and their sounds, you should leave room for all those who will happily live their stay in this environment.

A quirky and charming spot in the midst of a petting zoo/wild garden. We had the place to ourselves and the kids loved the play area and masses of animals to see. What it lacks in facilities is made up for by the friendly hosts and great location. (As you arrive coming from Calais, turn left off the D127 over a narrow metal bridge, then almost immediately first right (looks like a cycle way) then park on the gravel on your left.

Maud, Ludwig and their children are very nice hosts. We were just passing through for one night but our children enjoyed the unusual setting with the animals!
