Description

Between NANTES and ST-BREVIN, our small "Les Randonneurs Futés" campsite is an unforgettable stopover. Its incomparable freshness, its greenery, its authenticity, and the conviviality of a very small, comfortably equipped site will not leave you indifferent. "A little paradise" is a regular comment in our visitors' book! We're not resting on our laurels, and we're continuing to make improvements for the comfort of our guests. The establishment has been awarded the RANDO ACCUEIL, VELO ACCUEIL, LOIRE à VELO, VÉLODYSSÉE and other labels, and has been awarded the QUALITE TOURISME and EUROPEAN ECOLABEL labels, which have been regularly renewed for the past 10 years! A Pilgrim's Stop, it welcomes hikers on their way - or in the saddle - to Santiago de Compostela. FREE WIFI everywhere.

The setting

On the site, a 19th-century building also used as a bed and breakfast, and various outdoor accommodations such as cabins or unusual dwellings + 3-cabin dormitory. Tenting facilities are located at the far end of the park, with sanitary facilities nearby. You'll appreciate the shade and coolness provided by century-old trees.
Magnificent night view over the port of St Nazaire.

The spots

Mainly reserved for tents and occasionally for minivans. No marked pitches. Marie, your hostess, will show you the best place to set up. The site is flat, grassy and shaded.

The sanitary facilities

The site has covered, enclosed sanitary facilities comprising two shower cubicles with washbasin + one 3-head family shower and washbasin, two WCs and urinals. The panoramic family shower overlooking the fields is a big hit with parents, who appreciate its practicality.

Coffee maker and kettle.
Collective BBQ, may be prohibited by order of the Prefect due to drought.
Heated swimming pool under cover from 15/04 to 15/10 Priority given to B&B residents.

Cross the St-Nazaire Bridge - free shuttles take bikes across - and immerse yourself in the world of excess.... It's here, in the shipyards, that these titanic liners are born: it's also here, on the AIRBUS site, that giants of the sky take shape. Two sites not to be missed.

  • I had a pleasant stay, in particular the communication with Marie in advance was very good. Thank you very much!

  • The site is remarkable, we did not expect such a large and simply arranged ground but very pertinament, one finds all the equipment, and there is even a covered swimming lane!
The small bugle of the breakfast surprised us but we were already awake.
The reception was very pleasant and we have an excellent stay, we will return with great pleasure, thank you!

  • The park where Marie is staying is very pleasant, totally in the nature, it's a real relaxing break. The swimming pool offers the possibility to refresh yourself in this very hot summer. The sanitary, the kitchen and the showers (fantastic the one with the view on the fields around) are clean and comfortable.
    Well recommended!

  • The welcome by the young blonde girl was very nice but the owner was not very pleasant with us. We asked for two beers in the evening and when I took out my credit card (9€ anyway) she told us : "I don't take the card for that, it's always the same with the campers, they never have money". We still had enough to pay in cash.
I think that when you have a business, you don't make this kind of reflection. We regretted having taken the beers afterwards but there is not much to eat nearby. I understand well that it is more pleasant to take cash but the money of the campers has the same value as those who are in cabins or in lodging. For the blow we lived our stay differently.
Afterwards the place is nice, in the shade and the facilities are correct. On the other hand we hear the noise of the cars all the night because it is very passing....

  • Very pleasant place, charming, atypical. It was a pleasure to stay for one night and to meet the animals : our daughter loved it :)

  • Superb short stay!
    Very warm welcome
Very convenient location panoramic shower in the garden overlooking the field it was great! Wc at disposal
    Perfect for a few nights!
    Thanks to you !

  • Very good reception

  • This mini-camping made of huts, bungalows and tent places on the fringe has strictly nothing to do with the homecamper site intended for camping in private homes and not for entrepreneurs employing staff. Moreover, the location on the roadside is noisy, even at night, the welcome is not very warm, the electric recharging facilities are reduced to a plug in the sanitary facilities. The landscape is also relatively unimpressive in front of the Donges refinery (Seveso site) whose lights can be seen through the trees.

  • Our stay at Marie's house went very well. Charming place, with trees and very well organized.
    We recommend

  • It's just perfect!!! spacious, shady, good facilities of sanitary, showers, kitchen area, local bikes ...
Animals and games for children....We will come back! I highly recommend, we will try next time the table d'hôtes!

  • Despite the rainy weather, the place is magical! The herbal tea room is very well equipped and the sanitary facilities are impeccable! I highly recommend it. Marie is reactive!

  • Very nice place, a lot of shade for the tents, quiet and restful

  • Chez Marie, a peaceful place where you can pitch your tent or sleep in these little cabins. Everything is well thought out, sanitary facilities, herbal tea room, bicycle shelters, etc.
Thank you for your warm welcome.

  • A very nice place that I highly recommend!

  • Really nice place.
Lots of space. Clean sanitary facilities.
    Accessible by bike path.

  • Superb place full of charm

  • The setting was good, lots of space. Beautiful shower, small but sufficient pool.
    Good for short stays.

  • Very charming and pleasant place. Clean bathrooms.
