The activities

The castle of Canet-en-Roussillon, an ancient viscount's castle mentioned as early as the XI? century and many times reworked afterwards, stands on a hill north of the old village of Canet-en-Roussillon, in the department of Pyrénées-Orientales.
The Vigatane restaurant is a unique gastronomic theater, created by regional artists in an old wine cellar, with a central fireplace where grilled meats are prepared and served with tomato bread and "garlic i ioli".
The Têt river rises at the foot of the Carlit peak, at an altitude of 2,405 m, in the commune of Angoustrine-Villeneuve-des-Escaldes. It flows from west to east through the department of the Pyrénées-Orientales, first through the Conflent, then through the Roussillon, and finally into the Mediterranean Sea, in the commune of Canet-en-Roussillon, after passing through the city of Perpignan. Its course is blocked, in its upstream part, in Bouillouses (hydroelectric dam) and in Vinça (dam-reservoir).
Large beaches of fine sand, 9 kms exactly. At 2,5 kms from the area, by bike or on foot.
Supermarket and Drive "Welcome to your store! Here, we answer your desires of every day. Choice, freshness, ready to eat or to cook but also good plans and practical services. Because we do everything to make your daily life easier!"
La Vallée des Tortues, created by Françoise Malirach, located in Sorède in the Pyrenees-Orientales, is an animal park entirely dedicated to this animal. It presents more than 500 turtles, of about thirty different species on a ground of two hectares. (website hidden)

  • NEVER RESERVE in this area. Guaranteed scam!
Price for 7 days 84€ we paid 137€ !!! Look for the mistake ?

  • Very nice camping car area with all the necessary comfort. Close to the shops and the center of the village of canet.
We had booked 4 nights and stayed 2 nights more.
    I highly recommend it.

  • Very well located, close to the old village. Price on the spot much more interesting than by homecamper. No human exchange except through the homecamper messaging system. A punctual welcome on the place would be appreciated

  • At first we were surprised that it was a camper van area and not a home stay, but we really appreciated the place. It is quiet, close to the essential shops. The bus for the beach is 7 minutes away by foot.
There is water, electricity and drainage.
    For us it was enough.

  • We spent the week on this area c top, clean, close to everything, and we met great people, regulars of the area that make your life great thank you to Olivier we will return

  • Surtout pas utiliser Home camper car frais exorbitants. De 12euros60 on passe à 16euros.
Sinon aire calme et bien placée.
    Mériterait un meilleur entretien.

  • Good step in the calm with the draining, water and electricity. Just a small problem of access code solved finally.
