Description

Opening June 2019, new private parking area: an area and services for motorhomes.
All services included (unlimited water draining, unlimited 6Ah electricity, unlimited wi-fi), video surveillance, very quiet, with magnificent views of Canet castle, shops nearby.

The setting

Nearby: supermarket 500 m away, launderette 500 m away, restaurant 500 m away, historic center 200 m away.
The little train passes in front to go to the beach and the town center.

The activities

The Château de Canet-en-Roussillon, an ancient viscount's castle mentioned as early as the XI? century and subsequently remodeled many times, stands on a hill to the north of the old village of Canet-en-Roussillon, in the Pyrénées-Orientales department.
The Vigatane restaurant is a unique gastronomic theater, created by regional artists in a former wine cellar, with a central fireplace where grilled meats are prepared and served with tomato bread and "ail i ioli".
The Têt rises at the foot of the Carlit peak, at an altitude of 2,405 m, in the commune of Angoustrine-Villeneuve-des-Escaldes. It flows from west to east through the Pyrénées-Orientales department, first through Conflent, then Roussillon, and finally, after passing through the town of Perpignan, reaches the Mediterranean Sea in the commune of Canet-en-Roussillon. Upstream, the river is dammed at Bouillouses (hydroelectric dam) and Vinça (reservoir dam).
Large sandy beaches, 9 kms to be exact. 2.5 kms from the area, by bike or on foot.
Supermarket and Drive "Welcome to your store! Here, we meet your everyday needs. Choice, freshness, ready-to-eat or ready-to-cook, but also good deals and practical services. Because we do everything we can to make your everyday life easier!"
La Vallée des Tortues, created by Françoise Malirach and located in Sorède in the Pyrénées-Orientales, is a wildlife park entirely dedicated to this animal. It features over 500 turtles, of some thirty different species, on a two-hectare site.(website hidden)

  • NEVER RESERVE in this area. Guaranteed scam!
Price for 7 days 84€ we paid 137€ !!! Look for the mistake ?

  • Very nice camping car area with all the necessary comfort. Close to the shops and the center of the village of canet.
We had booked 4 nights and stayed 2 nights more.
    I highly recommend it.

  • Very well located, close to the old village. Price on the spot much more interesting than by homecamper. No human exchange except through the homecamper messaging system. A punctual welcome on the place would be appreciated

  • At first we were surprised that it was a camper van area and not a home stay, but we really appreciated the place. It is quiet, close to the essential shops. The bus for the beach is 7 minutes away by foot.
There is water, electricity and drainage.
    For us it was enough.

  • We spent the week on this area c top, clean, close to everything, and we met great people, regulars of the area that make your life great thank you to Olivier we will return

  • Surtout pas utiliser Home camper car frais exorbitants. De 12euros60 on passe à 16euros.
Sinon aire calme et bien placée.
    Mériterait un meilleur entretien.

  • Good step in the calm with the draining, water and electricity. Just a small problem of access code solved finally.
